Hello 🙂 You could by new, sell or trade for a size that is the correct size. You could also try to modify it yourself and make it shorter - cutting and re-sewing it back together. Another more extreme option, depending on your impression, you could make a field improvised attempt by adding holes for the belt buckle prongs past the lip and onto the belt itself 🥳
