LucienSabre En Vogue are up there with TLC and Destiny’s Child and have had a huge influence cementing their status.
Both All Saints and Sugababes may be forgotten in the US but not even close to being forgotten in Europe, so they shouldnt qualify for this list
Djrobinv I’m talking globally. Worldwide, almost no person born after 1993-1994 knows whom those bands are - and Sugababes were never that big a hit outside Europe anyway.

The Sugababes are one of the most successful Girl Groups outside of America, they’re not forgotten
I agree with everything on this except EnVogue. They shouldn’t even be in honorable mentions. They are ICONIC.Their talent and name was was too global to be with the rest of these 2 album groups. EnVogue were big for 3 albums before their downfall. If SWV aren’t on here then EnVogue shouldn’t be either.

She was kinda like the left eye of the group since it looked like she was the crazy spunky one of the group while the other girls were kinda but not exactly like Chilli and T-Boz. It's eerily ironic and sad.
MsMojo, HOW FREAKIN DARE YOU? Insulting En Vogue like that? They were one of the top girl groups of the 90s, also heavily responsible for the decade's R&B sound at that...and Grammy winners.

Brandon Chase ...and they have unbelievable voices. Maybe they aren’t “forgotten”?where I live, since they are all from Oakland, CA. I’m not trying to insult the other girl groups, but the rest of the countdown doesn’t even come close to En Vogue. Maxine, Terri, Dawn, and Cindy each brought their own strong voices, and could harmonize. The other young ladies in this countdown don’t come close.

Sugababes are legends, they're the biggest girl group after the Spice Girls in the UK, and were huge in Asia. Definitely remembered, not forgotten.

En Vogue is legendary! They haven’t fallen off, just much older with children. And 702 is iconic in the R&B community.
Exactly, I would've replaced them on this list with another girl group that has amazing songs but still very underrated, Eternal. Also, I would have replaced Sugababes with No Angels and All Saints with Brownstone. Sugababes and All Saints are not forgotten. I mean there are so many girl groups that have been forgotten such as The Saturdays, Girlicious, Paradiso Girls, Monrose to name a few.
So Play wrote Cinderella (Cheetah Girls) and Famous (Big Time Rush) 😱
They didn't actually write "famous", only recorded it a few months before it appeared in a BTR episode for the first time.

I used to listen to these groups a lot, especially Play, Dream, Blaque and Sugababes (Sugababes isn't even forgotten though?) Also En Vogue should not be here. They are iconic.

Sugababes is definitely not forgotten for sure , they’ve been very successful in their native UK, mainland Europe and Australia, obviously they haven’t hit US charts so I doubt 99% Americans would of heard of them. Which probably explains why they’re even in this list.

To me "being forgotten" means that if you're mentioned, people will not recognize you. I think people still recognize the name "t.A.T.u" if you say it.

Also I think bands like : Honey, xscape, SWV, Eternal, Mis-teeq, Madasun, Daphne & Celeste, Jade, Brownstone, the Saturdays,Zhane, Shampoo, Alisha's attic, Mel & Kim and Cleopatra (the band) should be mentioned on this list too.
They're majority black groups thats why they're not included.

Well people outside the UK wouldn't had heard them. But the Sugababes were huge in the 2000s and were undoubtedly the best selling girl group to be mentioned on this list.

There is another girl group a lot of people have never heard of: Sista. They were around in the mid 90s, and released one album before disbanding. Luckily, one of their members went on to have a great career: Missy Elliott.

Well, you know those bands. I also know them. Not forgotten. The Runaways were the greatest all female hard rock group ever. Also the Go-Go's and The Donnas (they should have never mocked 30 years old, now they are almost 40)

OMG!!! I remember all of these groups mostly from the Disney Channel and MTV. I was obsessed with the Dream song in middle school. I watched Popstars and was wondering why Eden's Crush didnt become a thing. But, At least we got the pussycat dolls. I still bop to some of these.

jolynn schmolynn i looked up and unfortunately no leslie carter was not in dream that would have been intersting but she actually was in the other half and record it looks like solo songs and one song was in shrek pretty intersting.🙂

En Vouge never went away. They had members come and go, but never left. So they shouldn't be on this list. Either this year or last, they dropped an album.
Some of these groups did great. Saying they are forgotten is like saying The Supremes are forgotten. They still have their fan base, and were chart toppers in their time. They've etched their names into that wall of fame, and represented an era of pop music.
