well to answer the question you get into at about four minutes in, it's kind of complicated. the cmri doesn't accept the authority of john xxiii onward and they don't seem to be diminishing in their numbers. there are several other groups that will be basically unimpacted by this, although who knows what a group like the sspv will be in forty years. then there is the sspx which has a canonically irregular status and who rejects vatican ii and the new mass, while also officially recognizing the current pope and doing una cum masses. they don't seem to be shrinking in their numbers, and i think the expectation with them is that their status will eventually be resolved and that all the impiety in the church will eventually fade away but idk. determining which communion is the true church based on which one is "not gay" is uhh... i dunno. it seems like you're pretty new to this whole discussion (no offense). eastern orthodoxy is dealing with a lot of the same stuff although it manifests quite differently because their ecclesiology is quite different from rome's. and of course a large portion of these communions (plural, because of the recent moscow-constantinople schism) are not geographically proximate to centers of liberalism and protestantism, and so are less affected by it. then there is the problem of teachings on divorce and remarriage and contraception, which the catholic church has been more consistent on, making them arguably less gay. so i dunno. i get your concerns but it's a much more complex issue than "these guys are gay, these guys aren't". edit: also to add to the above, a lot of what goes on in eastern communions is not reported in western language media, so it is somewhat difficult to keep track of whether or not there is actually gay stuff going on.
Yes, it was kind of tongue and cheek. I don't actually think these theological complexities can be resolved by calling someone gay. Though that would certainly be convenient!
It comes from the east, out of the bosom of the priests. It will breed so much mischief that Eartha(sp?) will not be able to drink the blood of her slain children. It will spring darkness over the minds of men, like storm clouds over the sunlight. Everywhere, craft and deception shall contend with freedom and justice. For our beloved ancestors' sake, and for the sake of our precious freedom, 1,000 times I beg you, dearest, never let the eyes of a monk go over these writings. They speak sweet words, but unnoticed, they meddle with all that concerns us Fryas. They collaborate with foreign kings who pay them well. They know that we're their greatest enemies because we dare speak about freedom, justice, and royal obligations. Therefore, they seek to destroy all that we derive from our forefathers, and all that is left of our old customs.
The problem with Christianity is that it is based on faith rather than works, which is fundamentally effeminate because it makes everything about passivity and submission rather than action and heroism.

Stay on the barque of Peter. We're coming to the end of a cycle or the end of all cycles.

@@PeterCsere I probably should have picked that up, but I appeal to Poe's law.

idk man i think the crusades were pretty action-packed and heroic. you may be employing reductionism here ;-)
Sounds like they are imploding.
Why? Are you considering becoming a priest? ;-)
I am too offensive to be a priest. I would probably get up in the pulpit and rant endlessly about jews and immigrants
