Mount Abraham and Ellen | Battell Trail | VT5 #2-3

After traveling two and a half hours north to VT I summited Mount Abraham (4,006 ft.) and Mount Ellen (4,083 ft.) for two more of the VT5 Challenge summits. This was an absolutely amazing day with beautiful 360-degree views atop Abraham! The trail started out easy to moderate most of the way up, with lots of rock scrambles and steep rock to climb just before the summit of Abraham. After Abraham, it was a relatively easy trek over the ridge to Ellen. There were some gorgeous views in between the two summits but unfortunately no view at Ellen.
