I have learned so much and got into bowhunting because of them i will continue to support them and buy the products they offer, its a small ty for all they have done for me
I’ve watched THP from the start ,,it’s just me and my wife upper sixties, our daughter is 45 ,,,we want to thank each and every one of the guys from THP for bringing to our home ,,quality entertainment,,,many years ago television became nothing but a bunch of clowns lying to the public about everything,,,not one thing on there that we want to hear or see.
it's kinda like owning a bait and tackle shop, you make so much on worms, so much on Rapala, so much on frozen bait, so much on reel repair, its a bucket kind of deal. Hell we sold Christmas trees, we had a Christmas village behind the shop. Anything to make a penny
friends and I had a tv show and we all had day jobs or as I used to call them "Real Jobs" cuz we had all we could do just to pay the going rate for an episode to air on tv which in mid 2000's was $8600 per episode and we were contractually obligated for 20+ a year do the math. now youtube has made that a bit easier but still to afford trips, licenses, equip, food, etc ,etc it was nearly impossible for us to break even let alone make money. Chasing sponsors and working 40+ at our primary job burnt us all out!!!! We weren't even on the primary channel everyone knows about we were on a startup channel and after 7yrs we were burned out. You need to have a product to sell, a service to provide or just be independently wealthy for these shows to be viable. Having multiple streams of revenue like these guys have is a great way to since your not relying on one thing so if something falls off theres something else propping it up. You gotta be careful to in that making your relaxing hobby your job may ruin the experience you are having with that hobby!!!!!!
@pathfinder5804 Great advice for anyone thinking about trying to make a living in the outdoor space. It's VERY difficult, and few can actually pull it off. Thank you for sharing your experience and watching the clip!
@@Going4BrokeOutdoorsI wonder how Tim wells pulled it off, maybe because he’s really one of a kind. Nobody else is doing what he’s doing, not to mention the constant ads through his videos, but I can’t complain. He’s also really skilled with a bow, spear, and blowgun so he doesn’t lack in skill. I’d also say he makes a good bit of his money from sponsors and his own products considering he sells spears and blowguns.
Only people over 60 will get this but it reminds me of “the Darryl Brothers from The Newhart Show”, and their business, “Anything For A Buck”. (“I’m Darryl, this is my brother Darrel, and this is my other brother Darril”). 😂. Hard work 24/365, it looks like to me!
Don’t forget all the discounts, free stuff they get, hunting trips/access, and everything they got is probably a “tax right off” they just make it out like it’s all a wash and they barely make it lol 😂 they got it made like kings
The company was a group effort, which makes it self employed technically? It's not like you dedicate 8 hours to something outside interest to then do the youtube/podcast stuff secondary. No day jobs but never directly said it.
@@wyattgardner3552 That's what the point was. Woodsguys Inc is a production company they work for. (Self Owned) Many think they just hunt/film the hunt and lay around drawing in money off UA-cam videos. The day job is all the background work that goes into production, sponsorship, show, merchandise, etc for Woodsguys Inc. That's their day job. It's not just hunting for a living. The work they put in, I'm sure, is far more than 8 hrs a day 5 days a week the majority of the time. You can't always expect a direct yes/no answer in life. Comprehension is vital in life.
not sure what is going on with yoru channel.. you announce you're shutting it down and now you have these interviews without much explanation. Kinda weird to be honest.
@TranquilityAcres I announced I was no longer doing my own podcast, which I am no longer doing. In the video you are referring to, I said I'd be hosting on the Hunting Beast channel, which I still am. These are clips from the Hunting Beast shows. Not sure how that's weird, to be honest.

Yall get it as you can! God bless all of you.
Thanks another great show!

The only one that looks the part, background specifically, like its a lifestyle, is Beasty Gear.

Ted’s music career will make them world famous!
Certainly can't hurt!

44 years old here but I remember the Bob Newhart show as a kid and the shtick with the Darell brothers. You’re not alone in that recollection.
Yes he did!!! He said that’s what they do. It just takes all those little money makers adding up to equal enough money to make their living!

They don't have jobs. Real jobs
why do people even ask
Never answered the question about if they have day jobs
Did you listen? He said no, by telling us what he does. So I got a no out of it.n
Aaron did answer. The Woodsguys Inc owns THP and that’s where a lot of their revenue is funneled (woodsguys inc).
They have several jobs it sounded like to me. But what do I know

They're a production company meaning they film porn and edit scenes

Here I thought y’all came from a modeling background with all them good looks!
Who is THP? 😂😂
6 years ago I watch them all sleeping in the same tent.. Now they jump on a bird and fly to the next hunt..That was 2 hoodies and 4 hats ago..
