That's what I've been telling all of my mechanic friends! To get an Autel scanner instead of a Snap-On or a Mac. They're just making the tool truck guys rich. But because the don't listen to me, I go and charge them to do programming with my Autel. I do programming on cars all the time, and I use the Autel almost exclusively. . I've had an Autel for some time now and for a long time I assumed the Snap-On did programming too, like radio programming, key programming, module matching. And I slowly learned that it doesn't do all those things, even though it's a lot more expensive than the Autel. Although the Autel doesn't have built in connector diagrams or a scope, I feel that it does much more of the IMPORTANT stuff. Like program keys, match immobilizers, oil resets, etc. Oh, the list goes on and on. Also the Autel is Android based, while the Snap-On is Windows based. Android is much more stable. I use it as an Android tablet, with UA-cam, Skype, Chrome, etc. All of my car documents are stored there also. If they're were priced the same, I'd still go for the Autel. I feel the Snap-On does little for me. The updates are much more cheaper than the Autel. Danner, I'm glad that you finally gave the credit to the Autel that it deserves. You should have used this scanner a long time ago. The Launch is also a good scanner that does similarly what the Autel does. Great video, Thanks! PS. Kaleb looks cool with long hair.

FYI Uplevel in GM speak is anything above the base AM/FM radios they use in the base vehicles. So if it has a tape deck or CD it is considered uplevel. RPO UL2 won't be in a US or Canadian sold vehicle. It is there because other countries use a different band spread for their radios and that option sets the radio to match those station settings. For instance in the UK most radio stations are even numbered so you can have station 102.2 but not a 103.3. Like most of the non-snappy scan tools that cover most of the makes in the world the Autel has the ability to deal with global vehicles in cases where that is applicable. RPO UC6 is the 6 disc CD changer option.
I'm in the UK so purchasing for me is a non-starter but for those that are in the US the fact that you are taking the affiliate proceeds and pushing them back in to a worth cause is kudos to you 👍

Hello Dan, I'll spare the long intro on how much of a big fan of yours And your you tube channels. Like many others, I'm having an issue with my significant other vehicle. It wont pass inspection due to the inspection station computer is not communicating with all modules in the vehicle. I'll try to make this simple. Not!!! Lol Symptoms. Lost vehicle speed on the hwy for a few seconds. Tsc and check engine light blinks and shuts off. Regain speed. Lighter not working. I pulled and check the fuse for the lighter. It's good. Once I put the fuse back in, the tsc light came on then shut off. Command sense, the fuse control both lighter and tsc in my opinion. I can not find a Haynes book for this vehicle on all five parts store in my town. What's the reason for this post you ask? On one of your videos you mentioned you can go on a website and sign up and pay for a month for a wire diagram on one vehicle. Is it possible you can give that web page again so that I can fix this issue. I greatly appreciated. Thank you a million. Stay safe.

What do you think of the massively expensive Autel you have? I'd love to see how it functions compared to the Picoscope, like in class. That would be cool. Then everyone can judge for themselves based on what you show.
Keep watching my friend. I don’t do "tool reviews", I update you guys as I go with the tools I'm using. I have some other videos where the autel is being used. One where I'm learning the scope etc
Hi. I have a question. Will you still have injector pulse if there is no pressure at hi pressure pump on direct injection injectors system?thanks
Ate you ok? Long time no video
You must not have clicked the bell icon to get notifications. I'm uploading all the time

I think some of these GM radios are vin locked with the bcm.

He said 《Mejico》
🙌🏾🙌🏾🤣🤣
Hi SD ... JUST a question, you have maxi IM, this tool can write VIN and can code new hardwares to vehickes?
This tool does way more than what I've used it for so far but yes, it can
@@ScannerDanner thanks a lot your reply👍
Always awesome videos mate.
Which Autel was you using in this video, and does it program keys?
The IM608 and yes that is it's specialty
I remember doing a 2010 impala radio with a snapon solus.
Which autel Is this? I have a maxidas 708 but i think it’s time to upgrade. Need something to handle cars after 2014 and to unlock gm theft lock
So are we finally going to agree that Autel is kicking snapon ass ??? I’m a technician as well and have the Verus Edge sitting somewhere in the shop I don’t even use it anymore
I know this is old and I am sure you found the RPO Code already.
Check the driver doorjam.
We've all forgot at some point to have an inspection done. With all the barber shops closed, it's gotten really ugly out =P
Hello Dan,
I'll spare the long intro on how much of a big fan of yours And your you tube channels.
Like many others, I'm having an issue with my significant other vehicle. It wont pass inspection due to the inspection station computer is not communicating with all modules in the vehicle.
I'll try to make this simple. Not!!! Lol
Symptoms.
Stay safe.
Thanks so much. Here you go my friend eautorepair.adtrk.biz/?a=10817&c=24&p=r&s1=
The radio unlock was a minor sideline. The take-away from this video was, 'don't underestimate the dangers of man-buns'.
I will can diagnostic with autel j2534?
