@@jasonlee6180 I am in Schönau am Königssee, right now. I went through Königsee today, but it was cloudy, raining etc… still beautiful. I went through the town of Berchtesgaden yesterday it was raining pretty decently, and cloudy, I couldn’t see the mountains well. Which is why I chose to just check out the town. Spent a lot of time trying to find an umbrella honestly. Still a beautiful part of the world. The Eagle‘s Nest is closed until at least Saturday but it is not supposed to clear up until at least then anyway, or Sunday.
The peninsula in the Königsee, where St. Bartholomä is located isn't called St. Bartholomä. The name of this peninsula is Hirschau. Only the Church and the boat stop are called St. Bartholomä. The Church St. Sebastian isn't located in St. Sebastian. The church is located in Ramsau, where also starts the trail through the Zauberwald. If you are on Hirschau you can make a hike to the Eiskapelle, a small glacier surrounded by the towering walls of the Watzmann Massif. Thies trail is family friendly and marked as easy to moderate.
