Daytona bch Florida here. Here is how I wash a black car in sun: First I clean wheels all 4 then I pre foam the vehicle then I rinse the wheels first then the vehicle and foam it down again and contact wash. At this point I take a break because it doesn't matter if the soap dries. I then rinse the vehicle and spray formula 4 as a rinse aid. I then dry the vehicle, starting on side panels first, and flat panels last. I then blow dry wheels and cracks. Done.
Wish this video was a thing before I washed my car. Had to rush washing the car. Still came out great, but was tired after the fact. After 8am, washing a car has to be under 30mins thanks to the 110° heat and the sun beating down where I park my car.
Great video, you are great at sharing your processes and reasoning why. Extremely practical. Im a full time mobile detailer on the other coast, not quite as hot on the Monterey coast but full sun, no deionizer or canopy for me either. I use very similar methods. Tell me what towel that was please? I'll try absolute at 64:1 as a drying aid, ive only used it as rinseless wash. 🏁👍

I am wondring if ypu sprayed down the vehicle to cool down thr panesl and then go in with the rinseless wash.if that would minimize the water spotting. Then again P&S has Polymers in there that can dry up the paint too!

@cleancarchris yes sir, I've been own mini detailing for the family and so far I noticed that the black vehicles are much harder to work on and the get dirty quickly too and pick up dust, but they do look really good when it's clean, I actually got a job offer at a car dealership but now my buddy is telling me that working at the as a detailer is a terrible idea

@@Name-nl5nf I use sometimes but not all the time as I’m not too close to any DI water fill stations in my area..hopefully I’ll set up a system in my garage in the future

@cleancarchris yes sir, I've been own mini detailing for the family and so far I noticed that the black vehicles are much harder to work on and the get dirty quickly too and pick up dust, but they do look really good when it's clean, I actually got a job offer at a car dealership but now my buddy is telling me that working at the as a detailer is a terrible idea
