Truly this was a perfect tribute to her, and I agree it was beyond an insult how they ended the show, 5 years of development and all these hints in that final season that she would get redemption, her love for Aithusa so strong she would endure true hell, her look of sadness when Mordred tells her he hopes she finds the love that filled her once, but no she gets the most insulting stab and 'goodbye', at least Merlin admitted his fault, cause his manipulations brought them all down

Yes, I agree completely. They had such an amazing character between their hands and yet they let her slip away like that. A true pity if you ask me. They could have done so much better if they had just let her have her so deserved redemption. Thank you for the comment!
