Tail of the Dragon is awesome!! Did it in March of this year in my 2015 Roush and it did great. Only thing that was a little concern is with lowering it you will probably start eating through your front wheel wells. Mine were pretty scuffed up after it, rubbed it pretty bad. So watch out for yours

Derek you need to do some track days! At a road course. I just got to get on the track at VIR a couple weeks ago (with a NASA team instructor riding along). OMG I had such a blast. You should see about doing some HPDE days. I think it would be good for your channel too
I've had my struts out of the front of my Stang like 20 times. It literally takes me longer to jack it up and put it on stands then to change the springs. Started out with BMR and ended up with Eibach. I've had SP performance, Ford, Pedders, and Rousch. Went back to the BMR's. Just feel better to me. May try Steeda if they make them for an S197.

took my BMW S1000RR to Tail of the Dragon, had a lot of fun!! Just signed paperwork on a 2023 Mach1 fully loaded. Being shipped in the next day or so. these cars seem to have the best of 3 worlds in the mustang world. GT500/GT350 and the performance parts unique to the Mach1. Getting rid of my 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. cant wait

I can tell you’re enjoying this car more than Hades. The 10r80 is definitely a rowdy transmission, but a manual is way more fun for just casual driving.
You absolutely do not need camber plates on a car that has less than a 1in drop. Over 1in is when it starts mattering. Having magneride doesn’t change this rule. Unless you are trying to go a little crazier with camber.
You should by a “cheap” C6 and build it kinda like you did Blue 2V, I love the details and filming style that you put into your vids. I wish someone with a C6 vette did the same 😂😅
There are so many upgrades for these S550 chassis and Coyote engines. The most important advice I give everyone and anyone is "Do your homework" Know what you want to be driving before you even purchase the ride. These cars are amazingly simple to maintain as long as you don't mind dropping the coin to do so......
I currently have SR Performance springs on my car, and online it said it'd be an 1.5 inch drop, but what's weird is that it's a 1.5 finger gap on the front, but a 3 finger gap on the rear.

A Mach 1 is a over priced premium gt. It comes with upgraded suspension (which he just changed) a different intake, and I think like a different radiator. But that’s it 🤣 if you look at the car and what’s ‘special’ about it. You’d realize anybody that buys one just got scammed out of their mind by ford 🤣
Don’t listen to the idiot. Pp2 doesn’t have cold air, throttle body, intake mani, ecu tune, subframes, springs, sway bars, magna ride tuning, transmission, gearing, bigger radiator, engine trans and diff cooler are the main things. I’d say it’s a lot more than a gt. But the dummies talk the most.

I need everyone's opinion. So I've had my 2004 2v since 2019 and since then I have added tasteful mods including a Paxton 2200sl supercharger pushing out 410whp. Recently I got approved for a 2012 5.0 6spd manual premium package in lava red metallic. I'm thinking about trading my 2v in for it but I will be taking the blower off. Do y'all think it's a good idea. Mind you, my car is paid for and I'll be starting all over with payments.
I would say go for it man. I have a 2012 mustang in Lava Red and they only made around 500 of them. It’ll be better off for you also since you can make 410whp on the coyote with minor bolt ons and maintain that reliability factor (not saying 2Vs aren’t reliable, but just remember you’re making the same power through a naturally aspirated setup, which means you won’t have to deal with blower issues, belts snapping, or other issues associated with being boosted). And you have the potential to make way more power down the road with the coyote platform.

The mach 1 has no lift shift you should try it out

If you can afford the payments with no stretch..id say do it. Ive had 2vs and foxbodys..id love to have a s197 coyote car
