i was surfing a kleeman lift, inspection stop and everything verified, surfed it until NEAR the top luckily not all the way, stopped it and suddenly the governor trips, inspection obviously doesn't work anymore and normal obviously doesn't work too. LUCKILY i didn't have safety bypassed as i did earlier as there is a switch in the logic to bypass safety. so from this position i had to go between the gap of the lift and doors very risky, doing this whilst the stop is pressed and inspection is on just incase, i could just about get out and then released stop and put it on normal, governor at this point is still tripped so it wouldn't move
Be careful when getting on and off lifts through small spaces. I have had times when idiot members of staff wondering why the lift isn't working and going in the logic cabinet, and pressing random buttons and releasing the brake, while not having a clue what they were doing.
