I’m back baby, with the heat! Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks. As most of you know my house had burned down on Mother’s Day and we lost absolutely everything in the house. Thankfully I’m someone who isn’t attached to materialistic items which is the reason I’ve been able to overcome this obstacle fairly easily. A major lesson I’ve learned is that there is still kindness everywhere. People within my community, people I don’t even know were welcoming us with open arms into their homes, donating items,money and food, it’s been absolutely incredible. I’m so humbled by people’s generosity and it’s made me realize I need to give even more than before. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is your relationships, the materialistic things will only depreciate but your relationships will only appreciate. I’m still not completely back to regular life but hopefully in the next few weeks I should be back on the regular routine.
