Funny enough I actually got my usual Mon grocery order today cos of the federal holiday on Mon (MLK Day). Apparently I surprised my shopper cos I answered him almost immediately when he had to make a substitution. EX: Deli was out of Colby Jack, but the prepackaged was available. 30 sec later I said that'll be fine. He replied wow, you're right on it. I said, yup cos you're helping me so I'll help you when/where I can. Then surprises him again w/ a $5 cash tip (it was a EBT order, can't add a tip to it). If I had more I would've given him more. I just don't carry much cash. My friend stopped by to pay me back the $5 from last month this morning. So he got it. ☺️
60 miles 3 orders not even $20.00 last night $51 in a decent time. Depression kicked in today so I'm not going out tonight. Hopefully this weekend with football I can make up for lost time@@umass98
Yep it's been slow on doordash. I'm platinum. Starting to see it doesn't matter. I finally got on spark. Not sure if I'll do it or not. Especially in the cold.
Nope I’m in Hotlanta and this is just not going to work for me. It’s been slow and terrible orders . I stayed in the weekend and saved my gas and aggravation
#Charlie, 1st on a shop today. Numerous items DD wanted me to take a picture of where I found the grocery item at Meijer. Guessing we will start to see locations of items via pics in store on shops soon, similar to when we can now see drop off photos.
I’m in Georgia No I will not par-take in this. I still do Doordash’s maybe 25-40 drops a week. Being doing lot more Zifty lately and Instacart and spark I do 40 hr weeks maybe a little less I hit goal of $800 -$1000 a week and I always take 1 week to my self need that self time Enjoy your content be safe
That employer match is the same as any 401k I've ever had or seen for the 300+ clients I used to process payroll for. I'm thinking the exclusion of tips is probably preemptive due to campaign promises by both parties to potentially make tips nontaxable.
Would need more information on the "Stride Save account", is it like a 401k? What kind of interest do you earn on it? How is it seen from a tax perspective? If it treated the same as a 401k everyone should be contributing at least 4%,. thats free money Door Dash is offering. Most companies give employees a 3-5% match on their 401ks so 4% is not bad.
the way you dissect these issues Is your strength 8 cents that's funny, all these platforms have no positive way to move forward obviously it's their intent.
Spark here was horrible till like 4pm. The last like 3 days has been SO slow. When it takes the full 4 days to hit 6 trip incentive that you usually hit one 1 day... ya that's slow! On a side note: 40 dollars from doordash lmfao. You can do a 6 trip incentive from Walmart and hit that in a day. Doordash pay is so bad, only thing that makes it worth it is the tips! I'll take Spark over Dash any day of the week.
I would find that stride deal extremely suss.. Especially after the debacle that has been the change over to crimson. Doubt DD is doing this out of kindmess of heart.. What do they get out of this??
I would not participate in a 4% savings. I currently have my own savings that I do personally, which is a much larger percentage. However, I find this to be beneficial for someone who does not know how to save at all. People who are less responsible in this area.
I’m in Southern California. My cities that I DD in are Murrieta/Temecula. It is sooo slow. I got one order today for 8 bucks in 3 hours. I guess I should think about doing Spark or another gig. It’s never been this bad. 🫠 Keep on keeping on!

This whole week has been super slow for DoorDash
You got that right. Don't get me started on Tuesday night. The worst night dashing I've ever had.
@MichaelLewandowski-i8g I made $31 in 5 hours Monday. Didn't decline a single order. All had tips

You're doing right by just setting aside a dollar for each order instead of participating in a program.

So close to 5K !
Thanks for sharing a day where it was slow.
Sadly, it's crickets in my market as well. Great video though!
The shopping cart needs blinker fluid!
4% used to be interest on a savings account many moons ago
🤣 almost went over to family planning so I could lube up the wheels
That 4% ain't much. Just work two 7 day weeks for DD and you'll be able to bank off of that instead of a 401k these days 🤦@@TheBrashDasher
I get 4% on my checking account 😂 rolls into my savings each month and get interest on it again.
Yes been super slow UE this week…in Vancouver only did one delivery Thursday went home after 1 1/2 hrs…
I think this weekend be the slowest. I check my last year DoorDash it was very slow.
the January slow-down is very real in my market
@0:38 My dad always uses the rabbit hole term every night. What does this mean? He mentions "your moms rabbit hole."

The percentage works great if you’re in a hourly or salaried position.
Not sure my wife and me both get 2 to 1 matching for retirement up to certain amounts per month
@16:34 My mom tells my dad she wants his mozzarella stick all day. What does that mean? Shes talking about the cheesy goodness right?
🤣 yes it’s all about the cheese
@@TheBrashDasher My mother says its always extra cheesy!

They get more of a write off.
Yummmmmm
🤣 Thanks Luke!
Would not partake in that program...DD is so slow in my market.(Bloomington indiana) I've resorted to Lyft
I’ll be in your area some time this year. Hope to catch up with you

if you do shop and deliver or earn by time it would be less than 500. That would be the only sane way to make $1000 non-tip earnings in 6 months.
Earn by time would be a genius move to maximize the 4%. Shopping orders are good but unreliable day to day.
Slow everywhere it seems? 🤷🏻♀️ been slow here and it’s a college town with 80,000 plus students 😳snail slow
Just a few more day for trump to clean up all the garbage, and work for us.
😂
first
Its slow, bro. $50 days over 10 hours of watching. Occasional 100+ days tho
