Yes! they're not keen on tax, i started and dashed for 3 weeks without being able to upload my tax number to the app. Cannot believe they're asking their contractors to complain to govt on their behalf.
I was talking to a 25 year mgr of Walmart in the Knoxville TN area. We were discussing spark and he mentioned that all spark delivery drivers will be eliminated in a few years down the road the plan is to hire employees for Walmart only to deliver. I don’t know if it’s true but it came out of a managers mouth. I can see this happening at some point. Bigger stores have delivery van for Walmart + members who are willing to pay extra for a employee of Walmart to deliver instead of us contractors for Spark
I am in Fort Wayne, IN. Saw it but totally didn’t realize what it was and ignored it lol. Doing this for 3 years, you find other ways to keep your earnings up, so I say don’t sweat it. DD is probably my 4th highest earnings app rn
Hi Charlie. I am a Dasher in the Indianapolis market and I did get the Email. I do not know how much the 50 cent tax will hurt deliveries, Just another tax for auto. We have so many taxes and fees for our roads. Some roads here are very bad. Pothole city. I think most counties will adopt the tax, I know Indianapolis will they try to tax everything, Our legislature is large majority Republican as well as our governor and theoretically should be against tax increases. We shall see however once cities and counties get used to the extra money that amount will creep up to the $1 and then maybe they go back to the legislature for more increase... I do not think it will be as bad as DD is making it out to be but it won't help get many orders.
You definitely should get one of the collapsible wagons for larger/heavier orders! I finally got one in December and it has been a life saver! Well worth the investment when you do a lot of grocery deliveries regardless of which app it is. My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner.
It depends on the night how fast I can make $90 on door dash in Johnson City Tn although I'm from Indiana. 5 and a half to six hours to make $90 on an average night. Nine or Ten hours do far this week doing Lyft I'm at $224. It warmed back up and I'm able to get more Lyft rides again.

19:40 Nice, he gave us Sparklers a Pro-Tip! 😂 I will definitely be standing on my head the next time the Spark app doesn't want to cooperate! 🤸♀️
I've had to verify my ID 4 times in just 20 minutes on a couple of occasions.. completely crazy..
I like riding around in the cart while you shop. Lol

Never gonna happen. Walmart doesn’t want to pay more people benefits and discount cards.
You started to sound like Chuck during that shop and pay , celebrating after finding every item. Now if you only got 40 miles to the gallon too 😂

10:12 I like how they admit high prices decrease offers yet they crank the mark up and fees just for fun

I am an Indiana Doordash driver. I have noticed less offers already.
Made me verify before starting pharmacy order AND before I could finish order at customers house lmao
@codyrichardson5123 yup, happened to me today, too.
I feel like you're missing an opportunity to make an ASMR video with the paper shopping bags. 🤔 😂 It's such a nice soft sound...😊
So, in Indiana they get cold food?😃
Just found you a few days ago. Didn't realize you were a fellow Hoosier gig worker!
He isn't in Indiana.
I’m near Ottawa Canada and this evening I made $91 in 3 hours (430 to 730). I can usually make min $23/hour.
Who hits like button before he even starts watching it? 👈 this guy.
I've heard there is a glitch with the tips on the pharmacy pick ups that are batched with a shopping order. Did you receive the full tip or only half?
Had to dig but yeah looks like I got exactly half the tip
@@TheBrashDasherapparently the system is doubling the tip when in reality the tip is half of what the offer shows. So ridiculous!
@@moneyman202 that is insane. I reached out to spark and complained. Support sent it up a level so I’m waiting on an email response
When is your volcano going to blow😂 in store bag nerd 😂
@tomk9030 volcano will blow about the same time you come up with new material. Probably not in this lifetime.

Looks like Spark is working very well for you!
In MN we already have a 50 cent per order tax
Has it affected orders the way DoorDash is saying it will in for Indiana?
@TheBrashDasher I don't think so. Do people that order doordash look at the fees. If they did, would they order doordash?
Tax money allocated properly. He he he
Off topic but i just got an email about my new ontime rate its basically at 0 it should start at 100% im not happy
It would take me 8 hours to make $90
The title says “Warms” not “Warns”. 😊
😂 auto correct finally got me
