Hey man I love this vid, I’m new to fury and I’m still running inner rage due to lack of gear. What would be your rotation with that talent? I’m unsure of how my basic rotation should be. And also why is berserking in your burst macro? Is it not just a cd for negating cc?
Justin Willey iirc it’ll be Enraged RB > Rampage (100 rage) > RB > BT > FS. Basically RB on CD, BT if RB is on CD, rampage at 100 rage if not enraged or RB is on CD and FS if you can’t do anything. My t21 video covers the RB rotation of you want more detail :). Berserking is the troll racial, 15% haste
MrM4DD0gg hey, the link in the description should take you to the Fury specific ones I use. Or search for “Nooke” on wago and you should find them easily :)
Hello sir, firstly I want to say great video very well made. I have one question in regards to rotation in long sessions. What brand of plasters do you use after smashing your face into the keyboard for 3 hours? I've found the blood in my eyes often impairs my ability to dodge mechanics. Lol sorry for jokes, obviously as a warrior I don't have my eyes open during raids heh.
So I follow Archy the theorycrafter and use his exact rotation. I am 963 as a fury warrior and I literally sim every time I equip a piece of gear. Rn I sim almost 2.1 mil (and yes I'm aware that execute phase throws it off), but when I observe the DPS in the sim overtime it'll jump between 1.3 mil and 1.8 mil. I execute my rotation nearly perfectly now and my DPS would never vary that much and sometimes I would even get stuck at 1.2 mil sustained. I have cof and bis Legos as well. Zenran- Illidan if you want to look up my logs
Weston McKenney If you’re not hitting close to your sim on a standard ST encounter (let’s say garaothi) then you’re probably not doing your rotation perfectly :P. I’ve just left on vacation for a month so won’t be able to take a look at logs. Your best best is asking one of the stormforged in the warrior discord. Hit up ploppy or falu, they’ll be able to help
Thanks for the guide, easy to follow but one constructive criticism I would point out is read the tier 21 2-set and 4-set bonuses in the video since the entire video relies on the watcher knowing what they do, but if someone just stumbled on your video doing a search for a good fury guide for the latest patch they’re left a bit in the dark. Thanks for the video though!
Cheers for the feedback. I often worry these things are going to be too long - there's a fine line between concise info and waffling. I'll bear it in mind next time :)
This is just my own speculation regarding the aoe rotation @9:22. Isn't it better to: Meat cleave rampage> Whirlwind> Bloodthirst (to get that bloodthirst meat cleaved).
Ivanho3 yeah the rotation will basically boil down to keeping BT on CD and filling with WW until 100 rage. You’re right in the sense that when you come out of rampage you’ll have BT available but no meat cleave buff so you may want to WW before the BT
Thats the rotation I'll stick to then. Been maining fury since launch of legion but with bloodbath becoming the strongest talent it almost feels like I'm back to square one again. Great video bro.
mcisrael pinlac it’s not the smoothest without the ring in fairness. Just be sure to BT on cd for rage and enrage potential, Exe when BT is in CD for stacks and try and then your final BC/Ava 20-30 seconds before the boss dies
Alejandro Vielma if you’ve taken then frothing berserker talent (which you should on ST) then yeah only rampage at 100 rage. Don’t worry about frothing in the execute phase though :)
Hey!! Amazing guide, you min max the spec very nicely and even after playing a lot of it myself I learned new tricks. However I doubt about the amount of haste and mastery I should have and if some base crit should be kept.
If you have COF then you'll be avoiding crit like the plague, in terms of haste and mastery values there's no one right answer for everyone. Depending on your gear each will be valued differently, even vers can be quite high at times. Best advice I can give is to head to raidbots.com and get your stat weights there. Re-sim after each piece of gear as the weights will change each time
Although I sim about 100k higher with Bloodbath + Tier 21, in practice, I get higher numbers with Inner Rage. Have you compared the BB and Inner Rage rotations on the Tier 21 set? What were your results?
Yeah my talent comparison is just over 100k diff (with BB coming out on top) which is about 5% for me. BB certainly feels a little trickier to get used to after playing IR for 3 tiers but antorus has a great mix of either effective execute or AoE bosses which BB feels great on
I'm doing something way wrong. Is t21 not worth it over t20 until you get the 4 piece? I sim at ~1.4m with my t20 set without bloodbath and sustain about 1.2m. When I sim with bloodbath and two two-sets the sim says 1.7m but my sustain is much lower, only hovering around 1.05m. Any ideas?
For me 2p/2p and BB simmed higher than 2p/2p IR so I took BB as soon as I had 2p. Although for others it may be different and you may find IR remains best till 4p, you'll need to sim but it sounds like you've already done that. If you're doing your sustained tests on a dummy then your results are going to vary massively as sim takes into account exdummyecute phase which a does not and BB has alot of damage tied up in the sub 20% phase compared to IR
Im still so confused by this build, everytime i go to test it out and see what it can do i get lower numbers than inner rage. The only major thing im lacking is the Convergence of fates trinket (and technically valarjar beserkers), i have 4 piece of 21i have the the soul of the battlelord, and i have 14k haste and 15k mastery. Yet i can never seem to sustain anything better than like 1.2-1.3 mil dps (with inner rage spec) or the even lower 1mil-1.1mil dps with the bloodbath spec. Even my burst is questionable can only seem to get just a little over 3 mil. Do CoF and the valarjar beserkers carry that much weight in the spec? because im honestly wanting to reroll at this point with how frustrating it is to pull numbers
It certainly takes some getting used to and alot of the damage is tied up sub 20%, so it's good you have the ring, without it the execute phase feels REALLY bad. Legs aren't critical, helm will work fine although legs are slightly more optimal. As for COF, I haven't personally tried it without, it's certainly a major factor. It'll probably be a 2-4% upgrade in sim on what ever you've got (assuming it's an ok ilvl). The main thing with cof is it allows you multiple BC's sub 20%, which again is where alot of damage is tied up
Coburn_25 update! Just got the valarjar berserkers and it definitely seems to be carrying up the damage. Other than that I feel like I'm finally (kind of) getting the bloodbath build, it still feels wonky to me, but I'm at least seeing the increase in sustained dmg. Just sucks cuz the rest of my guildies just seem to be so solidly ahead of me despite similar ilvls and magnitude of gear. Idk, I'm just hoping that once I finally get CoF I can rest easy and get that confidence in my dps right now, just feels down right shitty to not be able to compete for top dmg despite being so optimally built and having had tons of practice. I mean admittedly I only just broke 950 ilvl but still.
You also have to remember cof holds higher value in real raid scenarios. ie pure ST over 5 mins (which is what sims default to) doesn't account for cof allowing you to have BC/BB for every pack of imps on Portal Keeper - just an example but you should know what I mean. Keep at it, get cof and it'll come together
Update: im getting unsure of my dps, still missing CoF and argus trinket (up to 7 kills on argus already X((((( ) but literally every other item i have is BIS (ilvl 951). However, i would think that my dps would a least be on par or higher than the ret pallies or MM hunters in my guild (who are currently destroying the meters. Obviously this has to be my doing and im sure the answer is most likely to sim, but i just dont think that's particularly necessary it just has to be rotation/priority. Idk, im kinda wishing i just stuck with healing, but for the time being i wanna at least stick it out till the guild has downed H argus (i know we're slow as hell but we have fun and carry people who should probably not be raiding, but wouldnt have it any other way tbh). I think the only other factor that i could honestly see as a problem are my relics. For a long time i have just been getting the absolute highest ilvl i could find (my weps are 980) and for the most part it seems like a lot of the guides say to go for the higher ilvl relics but the thing is because of this, i have relics like the extra health while enraged, or more rage with charge and trash like that and thats not even taking into account the extra nether crucible ability traits and what not (my weps are of course 75+). I'm ready to sim at this point but i just want to be absolutely sure that i'll actually have to do that extra crap (I miss the good ol'days where as long as you weren't a total tard you would do ok)
Thanks, the main fury WA package I use is Nookes. Found here: www.mmo-champion.com/threads/2064215-Nooke-s-WeakAuras-for-Legion-all-specs-(inspired-by-Fog
leyasu888 you’ll need to sim it to see what’s better. For me, BB was better once I was running 2p/2p, but I know for some others IR has remained ahead till 4p
Im curious whether it's better to use bloodthirst before odyns fury because of the enrage buff allowing you to do more damage? This is during battle cry burst whether its ST or AOE
Great video! I have a question though. Do you hold off on using BC/BB during execute phase? Should one save it until he/she has a good amount of juggernaut stacks?
Thunderwood1213 only save it if you know you’ll only get 1 more cast. Use a WA to estimate the time till the boss dies and there’s less than 30-45(ish) seconds left you can hold till you have higher stacks. You just have to bear in mind the WA isn’t perfect and you’ll need to use some personal judgment
Thunderwood1213 yeah there or there abouts. So if there’s 1 minute you should be able to get two casts but you have to be careful of how many other execute classes are in the raid and how much the raid damage will ramp up towards the end :)
Hey man awesome video, thank you :) (P.S. May I ask what's the addon you use to show what skill you used on the bottom right of your screen? Thanks again)
#showtooltip Battle Cry /cast Avatar /cast Battle Cry /cast Berserking /cast Bloodbath /cast Ring of Collapsing Futures I also have Avatar and BC on separate key bind in-case they need using independently, which happens a fair bit. Just remember if you have a seperate BC macro then be sure to include BB in it as you always want to use them together
Hm i dont know everybody says Arms does less dmg than Fury in this patch, ido 1-2 to 1.5 mill dmg with my arms but just round about 700k as fury, and i do everything you say in the guide XDD
Frängi Solz I guess you probably played Arms in TOS? In which case you’re probably much more familiar with the spec and generally how to use the abilities to your advantage in encounters. 700k seems like there’s some fundamental issues with rotation. Or you’re hitting a dummy and not getting chance to execute :p
WhitemaneX X yeah I’ve tried both 910 haste and vers stat sticks so far, both simming significantly lower than glaives. Waiting for the mastery one to drop (or the damn pantheon trink). One day I’ll be rid of it :D
I do enjoy when the rotation is talked out and discussed. Thanks for the video.
Was looking for this, I raised my dps thanks to your video. THANK YOU, subscribing.
Im new to Fury and this helped me a lot. Thank you so much!
Finally a perfect guide that explains everything and even shows the raid situations. Thanks mate!
Thank you so much for the explanation 💖
i was told to switch to fury because of the gear i was lucky to have titanforge. thank you for this guide!
thnx mate for ths Guide:)

Don't delay BC/BB for OF, jsut delay OF for the next BC/BB

BTW, you have the best video on Tier 21 BB rotation ATM.
Do you save BB for BC window, or do you use BB on CD and delay BC for the next BB?
sebastian kure save BB for BC and always use together

Except for when you're in battlecry. Your first rampage will be 100 from the BC proc, then OF, BT, non enraged rampage, RB is the priority.

Ah yeah that's a good point I didn't consider. Thanks for the response, just found your channel today.
what is your ui addon? can you do a video on it i like that it keeps the actual game ui
Black&RedSN95 its simply weak auras. You can download the add on and then import the package in the description to get the fury specific ui parts

Ah awesome thanks man, I'll try to configure mine in a similar way :)
what is your gear? cause your not even top 7 dps and i play fury without bloodbath and do more then 1.5mil dps
Are you still following this Rotation buddy?

just look at all the mythic argus logs for warriors 99% are all fury and then theres like 1 arms warrior which like ranked 35 while fury #1
tooth freeze!
i HATE how bloodbath plays
It's definitely a change in 3 tiers of muscle memory
Everything is laid out well but using wargalives on a single target boss is laughable. I cant take the guide serously after that.
WhitemaneX X unfortunately I have no other competitive trinket options, such is luck
WhitemaneX X yeah I’ve tried both 910 haste and vers stat sticks so far, both simming significantly lower than glaives. Waiting for the mastery one to drop (or the damn pantheon trink). One day I’ll be rid of it :D
