My curls have changed as well I think due to age, stress, and illness. You’re not alone! All you can really do is take care of yourself the best way you can. I think probably cutting off a few inches may help with definition as well. Good luck to you Kelly! Looking forward to more videos from you 😊

I’m so happy that you are keeping the real meaning of resurrection Sunday which is the celebration of the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ and instilling that in your daughter. I congratulate you for that, and I’m happy your back on UA-cam ❤

Oh I am so with you on this. I am 46. Definitely think my 3 sons messed up my hair. Also age. But I would never change having my kids. I lost volume and thickness for sure. Also the curliness is not the same. Hope something works for you. Your daughter is absolutely stunning. 💯 ❤

So good to see you! My last baby was 7 years ago and I did go through those hair changes! Buuuut… recently my hair has been sooo different even after a cut! 😭 I almost want to chop it all off and start over! My hair is just like yours and it has done the same! No matter how much I trim my hair it’s just looks so less wavy at the bottom! Aila is getting so big! 🥹 He is risen ✝️

I agree w you about the importance of celebrating Easter for the right reasons. Also, right after you wash and condition your hair try bending over in front of a tower fan on low (less frizz) until your completely dry. Gives you instant lift bounce and curls!💯

My hair changed after having my son. I used to have curls like you and now it’s more waves. Idk if it was the hormones or because I don’t do all the treatments I used to do or because it’s always tied up in a bun or because I switched to raw curls hair products since it’s water soluble. Maybe it’s a combo of all of them. Idk but when I was pregnant my hair was thriving it was the best it’s ever been. That was 5 years ago

I would do a BIG refreshing chop.
All the wavy parts is what I would cut. I remember learning about this before and possibly when the hair does this it means their is some damage that has happened and the only way to fix it is to start over. I think you would look great with a fresh cut!
I did it and my hair grew back great!

My 3b curls turned into 2c, and I lost a ton of hair around the perimeter of my head. Thankfully, my curls at least made it back to 3a. Still not the perfect spirals I used to have and nowhere near as thick, but some progress is better than none. At least I got a perfect little human out of the trade 😊❤

Girl, after 4 kids, it went wavy to really curly, to flat to really wavy and now it never knows what it wants to do. lol It has definitely changed as I had my kids and as I've gotten older. A few weeks ago I was so done with trying to figure it out that I straightened it and then I hated it more 🤣 It's beyond crazy! Hoping we both have luck figuring it out!

  • @luckykatz

I never had kids. But when I was younger in my 20's (or even 30's), I had beautiful thick ringlets of curly hair. Now in my 40's, my hair is not as curly anymore. It's starting to be a little bit of somewhat wavy. My hairline is also starting to thin.

Great to see you! My hair did change after having two babies. And it's changed as I've gotten older, too. Your daughter is beautiful.
As for the Easter thing it's really funny you should talk about that. When I became a mom all of that stuff was so important to me. If you haven't looked into Passover I highly recommend it. The Jewish traditions for Passover go hands in hand with Christianity. As a Christian it is so amazingly perfect. I also had issues with Christmas because it has a lot of pagan influences. So I raised my girls without all the Santa stuff. It just bothered me because it seemed like an infringement on Jesus and God. I mean, you never see Santa in your home but you're supposed to believe in him and ask him for things. And that just didn't sit right with me. I told my girls they were not allowed to tell other kids it is wrong to believe in Santa. We each have to do what we feel is right. All of my siblings celebrate Christmas with Santa and their kids. I believe it's so important we go with our convictions. Anyway I'll stop rambling. I'm saying I really understand.

I always thought Easter comes from Germanic cultures, which is why the "easter fire" is still a common tradition in Germany (usually on Saturday before rising)
I looked it up and it might come from the old germanic word "Austro" which means "dawn" some even link it to the word "east". the traditions etc are definitely linked to fertility and spring. Which to me is similar to "rebirth" which is basically what happens every year in spring. I don't know it the human sacrif*ces are true though. That's hard to say & I'm don't have enough knowledge in that part of history (I study history) . But some of these "rumors" were also used in History by the church as a warning against non-christian religions. So it could even be made up. I'm a Christian myself & 100% accept your decision to celebrate it differently. Just thought this might be interesting to know!🥰

My hair completely changed with each kid. I have 3 and my curls have gotten progressively looser and frizzier with each child. Hormones do change your hair texture and pattern, so pregnancy usually does mess things up.

Bravo well said. Do you think that if your hair was a little bit shorter, it would curl up a little more now that your hair has thinned out I would be curious to know and I’m sure you do not want to cut your hair right now either.

After having my 4th child just 4 months ago, I also have noticed a hair change. Mine is opposite of yours, wavy at the top and spiral at the bottom. I've been fighting the urge to just start straightening again because it's so flat when it used to look so voluminous. Hopefully once my hormones regulate my hair starts growing like it was before

Exact thing happened to my hair after babies. I think maybe 1/2 my hair fell out, and the loss of volume caused loss of structure. I chopped off the thinner 4-5 inches, and starting fresh was exactly what helped! But it’s not fun losing all the length after years of long hair

My hair went from 3a/3b to 2b/2c/3a while I was in the curly girl. I was going bald. My tests came back ok. It took me minoxidil, nioxin, 3.5 years and several hair cuts for it to come back to at least 80% of what it was.
No more curling from root though.
Now it will probably change again due to my age (I am 48) and the menopause happening any moment now.

The info about the origin of the word Easter and the holiday is not entirely correct. All the Christian holidays have pagan origins. And the word Pagan is very broad. There were a lot of different belief systems lumped in the word pagan.

    • @kita3256
      @kita3256 Рік тому +2

Actually messianic Christianity or messianic Judaism is our best example as to how we should celebrate God centered, and Jesus centered holidays. Christianity does have many pagan holidays mixed in with Christianity because of Constantine and others around that time. It was done this way so pagans can accept Christianity But as Christians we should go back to our real roots.
