The Dreamer should normally be shown an evil player's bluff when possible, though i don't know if the ST in this case was aware of what Zoey was bluffing. In any case, showing Farmer here as the good role i think was a mistake because either the minion doesn't run with it and you've just confirmed they're a minion and not the demon, or they do run with it and you've "confirmed" they're good and not the demon.
Lewis is absolutely correct in saying Osie MVP! Not only getting the confirmation of Zoey poisoner, but also the strategic death to save the game... which ALSO annihilated the Osie+Ben world that the evils were trying to push.
Yes, Osie was absolutely MVP. Her combined info pulls on Duncan and Zoey basically revealing that Zoey was the poisoner was so useful and provided a very clear route towards outing Ravs, when combined with the info that him and Zoey were the only ones alive never chosen by the evil Santa.

50:26 "Everyone including the evil team will have to vote." You need 5 out of eight players, with 6 good votes available, including dead votes. This is knowledge everyone has. Sure it doesn't detract toooo much from the game so I'm not saying this to be snarky, just informative :)
It's more important than you might think, especially towards the end of the game as the numbers dwindle. The order of the Al-Had picks are supposed to matter, as you want to choose mid-tier roles first, followed by roles that absolutely won't want to die. This forces the first and second player to have to weigh whether it's worth taking one for the team before they know who will be making the final decision and prevents optimal plays by the chosen players.
@elaynet382 Oh I fully agree that it's really important how it's done, I'm just a lil scared of coming across as overly critical :) But yeah you're completely right!
Pyrion saying "knew it" when Zoey revealed themselves as Poisoner was such an eye roll after wrongfully blaming Ben through the first half of the game because of a bad hunch.
Also he didn't back up Ose's nomination on Zoey (when Ose had great evidence) when he had an evil ping on Zoey. That almost cost them the game. If Zoey had been executed then no poison that next night giving Pyrion the info that Kirsty and Ben are good fully confirming all the info that led to Zoey and clearing everyone but Ravs.
At 34:50, Duncan makes the mistake of asking if Zoey is his farmer. I know this is a lot to put together in an instant, but the game would have gone very differently if Zoey realised that her poisoning could have worked and simply said “yes”.

Otherwise good game. xD enjoying them for the most part.
I think the evils were putting a lot of sus on Osie, and the dreamer info was the main reason Zoey was the better target than Ben - I think they just played the social game better and got an early nomination push.
Ravs did well seeking out Pyrion and Nilesy on the last day but Kirsty was a difficult target to accuse. He possibly could have saved it by defending his Balloonist info a bit more but I think Kirsty just made a very good case for herself.
i generally agree though it wasn't clear whether the ST knew what Zoey was bluffing. In any case i agree showing Farmer was a poor choice because at best it just confirms them as not the demon, which isn't helpful.
I feel bad for Ben cause the empath info plus osie should have put very little suspicion on him, also nice to see Zoey and Pyrion but I already miss Tom
What happens if a drunk townsfolk gets poisoned? Does it cancel out their drunkenness and they give correct information? Or are they just doubly wrong and the poisoning is rendered non-functional?
Other than having multiple reminder tokens on them, there is no effect. Multiple sources of drunk and poisoning do not stack or cancel each other out. The player's ability malfunctions, they may receive false info and they cannot have a mechanical effect on the game.
this game had so much potential for a very funny ending where both teams lose. cause on the day where Ravs, Zoey, Pyrion, and klirsty were left if kirsty died then it would have only left 3 players. if Ravs then has to choose who to kill he ahs to choose hiomself, zoey, and pyrion. at the point the only way demo wins is if Zoey chooses to die cause all pyrion has to do is say he lives. Ravs has to choose to live otherwise he looses. so at that point Zoey would have to realize she has to die to get the win which would be counterintuitive to a new player
Actually the Al-Had is allowed to choose dead players, so never has to pick themselves. If a dead player is chosen and chooses to live, they come back to life. (assuming at least one person chose to die) Also, if both teams simultaneously achieve their win conditions (good: No living Demon; evil: Two or less players alive) then good wins the tie. There are no draws in BOTC.
@@louish5068Played before, not played a lot. Or if she has the roles she's received were mostly backseat ones/first night information roles I'm guessing. She's so sweet and innocent that there were two separate occasions in this game where it was very obvious she had to lie (one instance where her honesty was contradicting her demon which is never a good minion play so early in the game) but it just never occurred to her. These qualities are what make yogs love Zoey so much, but I was wondering if we'd get to see a more cutthroat side to her like we do in TTT 😂
You can tell that Zoey's watched some Clocktower content before if she doesn't just have a real knack for these social deduction games, from how she proactively fought back against the target put on her back and crafted a plausible world where she wasn't Evil which swayed Town for a little bit. Didn't win Evil the game but still really impressive that she outlived her Demon when she had sus thrown at her on Day 1.
Outed minions surviving to the end is rare not because town executes them, but because the demon kills them... It's actually better for team evil if proven minions are dead since everyone knows they can't be the demon, so that means more votes going towards the actual demon.
Lewis literally stated at the start of the game that he’s played a lot of Clocktower with Zoey before, this was just her first time in Minecraft version!
Can someone explain to me why they're always so eager to kill town roles just because? Like on day 1 with the grandmother, if they kill her it -guarantees- that they lose two town, which puts the killer closer to winning. If they leave her, and her grandchild dies, it confirms her role completely, and if they don't hit the grandchild, they only have one death. It seems more important against a killer who can get multiple kills at once to have more town alive.
I see what you’re saying, if they kill grandma on day 1, then at the start of day 2 probably two are dead. Otherwise, if they kill no one day 1, then start of day 2 either one or two are dead, so plausibly fewer. I think executions are the main power Townes have at controlling the game, so they’re more disposed to use that power however they can
I think only the first game they weren't eager to execute everytime, since then, Yeah they've just been yeah my roles spent kill me; yeah kill grandmother that prevents double kill. But what, is really annoying is they are so eager to execute; yet when four people have suspicion on who the minion is; Nah we want the demon, then randomly execute ben with information given by someone suspected of being poisoner; it's like what; They did similiar thing with the Cerenovus game; Yeah we know who the cerenovus is but were not gonna kill them.
The town generally has one way to win: execute the demon. Every execution should be working towards that goal. This means that town should not skip executions without good reason, and you should prioritize killing potential demons over known minions. The early Grandmother kill can be a reasonable strategy in the absence of a better choice because at least you're killing SOMEONE, which gives you more of a chance to kill the demon then killing no one. Later in the game, if there's a player that everyone pretty much knows is a minion, then they're not the demon, so wasting one of town's few remaining executions to kill them is usually a bad idea. You might think, yeah but everyone knows they're the Drunk/Grandmother, why else would they nominate themselves, and the answer to that is, if your players are experienced enough, nominating yourself early to build social credit is a great way to sail into the end game as a living demon because no one will want to waste a kill on you later.
Dreamer seems OP. Never seen that role before (never seen Evil Santa/Al-Madikhia either, but that seems more balanced, or at least interestingly complex)
The correct role is Al-Hadikhia, but they misspelled it in the video. As for Dreamer being OP, it definitely can be powerful but has built-in misinfo so in the hands of a good Storyteller it can and should be used to sell completely incorrect worlds to the good team. It's not the easiest role to storytell.
I really am enjoying these they're so much fun And I know they are incredibly difficult to edit so I really appreciate them And hopefully maybe we see a poisoner poison the demon sometime to make things interesting
Zoey got lucky with their picks that's for sure but made a few misplays a long the way. I feel Kirsty and Osie were the real MVPs only thing Kirsty did wrong was blindly trusting Zoey.
Not quite because if he was the drunk he wouldn't be the grandmother, but with the poisoning he is the grandmother he was just given incorrect information of their grandchild's role, in this case; No that it really matter for this game in the end.
@@farrongoth6712 not exactly, there's the Drunk role, but then separately there's the drunk status which is mechanically identical to being poisoned. This is what would have happened if the Sweetheart died for example, a player would become drunk (status), but not The Drunk (role), if that makes any sense

Otherwise good game. xD enjoying them for the most part.
I think the evils were putting a lot of sus on Osie, and the dreamer info was the main reason Zoey was the better target than Ben - I think they just played the social game better and got an early nomination push.
When it cuts to Nilesy and they brought back the custom hair!
Gutted we didn’t get a rendition of the hit song Duncan’s Christmas Party, but at least they sung some parodies of it!
Osie singlehandedly won the game TWICE. That's amazing.
Zoey is back. YIPEEEE
It’s the holidays! Another BOTC game! Thanks for the present of a game! Have my like and subscribe!
Ravs did well seeking out Pyrion and Nilesy on the last day but Kirsty was a difficult target to accuse. He possibly could have saved it by defending his Balloonist info a bit more but I think Kirsty just made a very good case for herself.
Lewis should have given the dreamer Fortune Teller and Poisoner, telling them Farmer made the evil team garunteed to lose. Instantly outed Zoey.
i generally agree though it wasn't clear whether the ST knew what Zoey was bluffing. In any case i agree showing Farmer was a poor choice because at best it just confirms them as not the demon, which isn't helpful.
yay my favorite zoey is back!
I feel bad for Ben cause the empath info plus osie should have put very little suspicion on him, also nice to see Zoey and Pyrion but I already miss Tom
let's go so happy to see zoey and pyrion in this!
It seems Zoey has played a lot just not in the minecraft version
Actually the Al-Had is allowed to choose dead players, so never has to pick themselves. If a dead player is chosen and chooses to live, they come back to life. (assuming at least one person chose to die)
Also, if both teams simultaneously achieve their win conditions (good: No living Demon; evil: Two or less players alive) then good wins the tie.
This is such a good group!
I really like the news kind of video from yogscast!!
kind of fitting the grandmother mistakenly thinks her grandson is a virgin
43:16 Lewis keeping busy
Imagine Zoey had claimed farmer, would have been epic
@@randomstrategy7679 don't you mean it's better for town if proven minions are dead? the demon doesn't want votes going towards the actual demon
saying "anxiety" was easy brain-chaff. it's not surprising.
You might think, yeah but everyone knows they're the Drunk/Grandmother, why else would they nominate themselves, and the answer to that is, if your players are experienced enough, nominating yourself early to build social credit is a great way to sail into the end game as a living demon because no one will want to waste a kill on you later.
but lewis! I'm *already* a member!
Pyrion is both chicken and egg - Paradox resolved
I really am enjoying these they're so much fun And I know they are incredibly difficult to edit so I really appreciate them And hopefully maybe we see a poisoner poison the demon sometime to make things interesting
Zoey is wayyy too good at this 😂
More like she got really lucky
Yeah she just got lucky that the town were really incompetent
Zoey got lucky with their picks that's for sure but made a few misplays a long the way. I feel Kirsty and Osie were the real MVPs only thing Kirsty did wrong was blindly trusting Zoey.
More of this please.
12:07 Minor correction. Nilesy is poisoned, not drunk. It's entirely semantic however as both statuses function in the same way.
Not quite because if he was the drunk he wouldn't be the grandmother, but with the poisoning he is the grandmother he was just given incorrect information of their grandchild's role, in this case;
No that it really matter for this game in the end.
@@farrongoth6712 not exactly, there's the Drunk role, but then separately there's the drunk status which is mechanically identical to being poisoned. This is what would have happened if the Sweetheart died for example, a player would become drunk (status), but not The Drunk (role), if that makes any sense
@@farrongoth6712kypello is correct, i meant drunk (lowercase d) the status, not Drunk the role, which is fundamentally different.
i love this series so much
The match on the music switch 🤌🤌🤌
is it just me or is nilesy really good at finding the demon and deciding to they are good?
pyrion?? i didnt expect him to be in this, so happy! what a surprise
Clutch Osie play for sure.
