I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and I came to understand who Jesus is and the Bible only through the 'The Chosen'. I accepted Jesus as my savior, the Living God only after watching The Chosen. Thank you Dallas and the team for their wonderful characterization, the humanitarian aspect of it especially. I could relate to them in many ways and I have encouraged many of my friends to watch it. I could not understand the Bible earlier, now the "Words" speak to me. Thank you Jesus for coming into my life, for 'choosing' me.
That's so beautiful to hear. I can completely understand how you've responded to The Chosen. I've been a Christian most of no life & even seen a number of movies about the life of Jesus Christ & His disciples - but none have come close to the beautiful & real way that Our Lord is shown as being in The Chosen. Sadly our church has closed down & my health is not good, but The Chosen has brought me closer to God & Christ - & reading my Bible - & given me an inner joy that's with me all the time. Bless you.
I love The Chosen. It gave a face to the players in the Bible. It has given me the ability to see these people as people, not just words in a large book. Our family is now back at church and when there is a reading I can see it with a personality. Thank you to The Chosen and their cast for that gift. ❤❤❤
I am not religious but "boy, oh boy!" was I drawn into this!!! The exquisite writing, directing, production and, most importantly, acting are so captivating and absorbing that it is impossible not to be moved and deeply affected. Just as a beautiful human drama weaved into extraordinary events, "The Chosen" is a groundbreaker and will go down as a television masterpiece. This is a rose perfect unto itself.
So cool you enjoy the show even though you're not religious! I am a believer but just very picky with shows and movies. 😂 "The Chosen" was actually the first show I've enjoyed in a long time - because as you said, the storytelling and acting is so excellent!

It would be wonderful if Dallas Jenkins would also film the Acts of the Apostles. The absolute and greatest would be if in this filming, many new flashbacks to the time of the Apostles with Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) would be shown, because there is so much more to tell about Jesus that has not yet been filmed from the limited time of seven seasons.

I’m hoping for this, too!!! lol I watched one of the after shows where one of the interviewers says something about “How about 19 Seasons!?”, and she said she wasn’t kidding. I said out loud to them through my screen haha “Yes!!!! PLEASE!!!” And laughed and prayed that God would continue this if it is in His good plans for us! :)
The Chosen is unlike anything that we have ever seen before....the backstories ,the humanity and down-to-earthness in this show is completely different and unprecedented
I am a fairly new Messianic Jew so this has shared so much information for me i doubt i'd get otherwise...in fact i have the series saved on my tv and I watch at least 1 and often 2 or 3 videos each night AND I always cry...so touched God opened His door and brought me into His world....so appreciate everyone in the Show and what their emotion gives me each video.

I can totally understand your watching several episodes of The Chosen - & crying every time, with the beautiful way the life of Christ & His disciples is shown.. I do the same. I can't help it. It's as if we are transported into their lives. I also find myself wanting to read the passages in The Bible that the scenes come from - then wanting to read more. And the show brings the people & stories to life so much more. It's all very beautiful.

Religion "shoved down my throat"❓ NEVER‼ I am a non Christian, haven't been to church since I was 14, I'm 78 now. Jonathan plays the Jesus as I imagined him and never found in the church. This is no black and white Bible verse without heart and warmth. Everything about this is done with the HEART and you can feel it. Cinematography, acting, sets, staff, grunts and the writing is brilliant! I am hungry for more. Keep those miracles coming❣❣❣

Why people cannot find this Jesus in our churches?! I believe this is main reason why there is so much darkness in the world. Light is not shining. What I have discovered is with him, Love is here within me. I am often on my knees kissing his feet, so overwhelmed with joy. And in this I am so grateful for The Chosen. My church is Love and I have Christian friends, and friends who are Catholic, Buddhist, Pentecostal, Jehovah Witness, Shamanic, atheist, agnostic, and Native American. The words for Love may be different, but we all meet in God's LOVE. You have a gift to give to your church, I feel it, it is your kindness, your true heart and reasoning mind. The Chosen Series is a refreshing change to the news! It is Spiritually Uplifting, and intelligently done. The dialogue is off the chart fantastic, worth putting on the closed captioning for! Jonathan Roumie is the perfect Jesus he makes me feel that Jesus is in my living room. Somehow he disappears and Jesus appears!!He deserves an Oscar, Truly! This movie is also an education for the most important problems in life that we all face as humans. For those of us trying to be the best version of ourselves this movie provides options to problem solving. I’m so done with the news, if I get anxious from watching the news, I go back and watch an episode of The Chosen at the gym on my phone from the app. and all of my proper perspective of the world comes back. It’s that well done. Bravo to the cast and creators❤

"Matthew" amazes me! It's fascinating to see this character as someone with social struggles, maybe Asperger's. The actor does so well. And then to see Jesus accept him and meet his need to be loved and accepted.

I love it so much! :) Dallas Jenkins, the creator and director of this show, actually has Asperger’s. :) They did intentionally portray Matthew as on the autism spectrum, because they believe the way Matthew wrote his book shows that. It’s so beautiful!! :) And how they show Jesus’ love for and respect of Little James (I have disabilities), Mary Magdalene and the trauma she went through (I battle Complex PTSD from severe trauma, and this show is the best portrayal of Complex PTSD that I’ve ever seen through her in Season 1 and how we can heal from it! :) ). This show depicts Jesus and all of his disciples in such a beautiful and authentic way that it has deepened and drawn me closer to Jesus. I’m hooked and I will never leave. The greatest Jesus movie ever written and played by the most amazing and talented actors. The sets actually makes you feel you are really 2 thousand years ago. The costumes right on. Dallas has hit the nail on the head. No pun intended. I’m not sure that I can watch Jesus getting nailed to the cross. I love you all ‼️………Peace be with you all ……… ☮️😘🌻
This is the best ever way to tell the world about Jesus. He brought out every aspect of a person's strengths and weaknesses and gave us tools to grow more like Him. This fabulous group of actors coming together to teach and show the world what life may have been like during the time Jesus walked on Earth is awe inspiring! As in the book of Ester it seems like "they were born for such a time as this" !
People are wierd,,they don't seem to know where the off is on their TV remote,,if they don't like the show,, turn it. Actors are awesome and so relatable to people.
Dallas could easily be a pastor. He is so articulate and speaks so easily about Jesus and how we all need that. I pray for God to continue to bless him and his family.

I ❤ the show so much that I wear my ‘Chosen’ t-shirt everywhere I go on the weekends. It makes me feel that I’m part of the cast and of course, portrays my complete ❤ for my Saviour. Because of this series, I have now read my entire bible and now doing my CIAY. I want NOTHING in this material world; nothing. I am now focused on HIS kingdom.
I actually do feel transported when I watch The Chosen - & so blessed. It's the most 'real' & beautiful depiction of the life of Christ & His disciples I've ever seen, in my many decades of life❤.❤
Love it, this was my first time attempting to do season 1 I've been watching it and I must say between the tears for questions the scenery the characters I was awestruck. I appreciate every person that's involved the writer's you made it come alive the Bible I'm 73 years old and this is an opportunity I will cherish for the rest of my life, hopefully watching this we can get it right. I pray that you continue to have the courage to go forth with the other Seasons I've asked God to bless the writers the characters in will wait with expectations what you going to do in the future.

When I started watching the chosen the first time I was literally judging it but then I actually asked my Lord if I should watch it or if it’s wrong for me to watch it and He told me to watch it that He will teach me through it and that’s exactly what our Lord Jesus did ❤ I’ve grown in my faith watching this show because there’s nothing impossible with God and He has used this show to grow me in faith and I’m definitely sure His doing it with a lot of other’s 🥰 God bless you all brothers and sisters in the chosen and God will continue to use you guys to reach more hearts 🙏🏾

I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and I came to understand who Jesus is and the Bible only through the 'The Chosen'. I accepted Jesus as my savior, the Living God only after watching The Chosen. Thank you Dallas and the team for their wonderful characterization, the humanitarian aspect of it especially. I could relate to them in many ways and I have encouraged many of my friends to watch it. That's so beautiful to hear. I can completely understand how you've responded to The Chosen. I've been a Christian most of no life & even seen a number of movies about the life of Jesus Christ & His disciples - but none have come close to the beautiful & real way that Our Lord is shown as being in The Chosen. Sadly our church has closed down & my health is not good, but The Chosen has brought me closer to God & Christ - & reading my Bible - & given me an inner joy that's with me all the time.

I am not religious but "boy, oh boy!" was I drawn into this!!! The exquisite writing, directing, production and, most importantly, acting are so captivating and absorbing that it is impossible not to be moved and deeply affected. Just as a beautiful human drama weaved into extraordinary events, "The Chosen" is a groundbreaker and will go down as a television masterpiece. This is a rose perfect unto itself.

It would be wonderful if Dallas Jenkins would also film the Acts of the Apostles. The absolute and greatest would be if in this filming, many new flashbacks to the time of the Apostles with Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) would be shown, because there is so much more to tell about Jesus that has not yet been filmed from the limited time of seven seasons.

I can totally understand your watching several episodes of The Chosen - & crying every time, with the beautiful way the life of Christ & His disciples is shown.. I do the same. I can't help it. It's as if we are transported into their lives. I also find myself wanting to read the passages in The Bible that the scenes come from - then wanting to read more. And the show brings the people & stories to life so much more. It's all very beautiful.

I am a non Christian, haven't been to church since I was 14, I'm 78 now.
Jonathan plays the Jesus as I imagined him and never found in the church. This is no black and white Bible verse without heart and warmth. Everything about this is done with the HEART and you can feel it. Cinematography, acting, sets, staff, grunts and the writing is brilliant! I am hungry for more. Keep those miracles coming❣❣❣

Why people cannot find this Jesus in our churches?! I believe this is main reason why there is so much darkness in the world. Light is not shining. The Chosen Series is a refreshing change to the news! It is Spiritually Uplifting, and intelligently done. The dialogue is off the chart fantastic, worth putting on the closed captioning for! "Matthew" amazes me! It's fascinating to see this character as someone with social struggles, maybe Asperger's. The actor does so well. And then to see Jesus accept him and meet his need to be loved and accepted.

I love it so much! :) Dallas Jenkins, the creator and director of this show, actually has Asperger’s. :) They did intentionally portray Matthew as on the autism spectrum, because they believe the way Matthew wrote his book shows that. It’s so beautiful!! :) And how they show Jesus’ love for and respect of Little James (I have disabilities), Mary Magdalene and the trauma she went through (I battle Complex PTSD from severe trauma, and this show is the best portrayal of Complex PTSD that I’ve ever seen through her in Season 1 and how we can heal from it! :) ). It’s just amazing! Much sincere love to you! :) I’m praying for everyone in this comment section, including you. :)

This show depicts Jesus and all of his disciples in such a beautiful and authentic way that it has deepened and drawn me closer to Jesus. I’m hooked and I will never leave. Almighty God said
In the LAST DAYS, GOD became MAN to DO the WORK He HAD to DO and to PERFORM His MINISTRY of the WORD. He PERSONALLY CAME to WORK in the MIDST of PEOPLE with the goal of making PERFECT PEOPLE WHO HAD the SAME ATTITUDE. 🙏
From the time of creation until now, He has only performed this kind of work in the LAST DAYS. It was only in the LAST DAYS that GOD BECAME MAN to DO such a great WORK. Although He endured hardships that men would find it hard to bear, and although He was a GREAT GOD who HUMBLED HIMSELF to become a common man, no aspect of His WORK was delayed, and His PLAN was not disrupted. even a little. He does the WORK according to His ORIGINAL PLAN. ☀️
ONE of the PURPOSES of this INCARNATION is to CONQUER PEOPLE, the OTHER is to MAKE PERFECT the PEOPLE He LOVES. He WANTS to SEE with His OWN EYES the PEOPLE He PERFECTS, and He wants to SEE for HIMSELF HOW the PEOPLE He PERFECTS TESTIFY for Him. NOT ONE or TWO PEOPLE are PERFECT. Rather, it is ONE GROUP, COMPRISED of just a FEW PEOPLE. ☀️🙏
PEOPLE in this GROUP COME from DIFFERENT COUNTRIES in the WORLD, and COME from DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES in the WORLD. The PURPOSE of DOING so much WORK is to GET this GROUP of PEOPLE, to GET the TESTIMONY of this GROUP OF PEOPLE to Him, and to ACHIEVE the GLORY He can GET from them. He does no work in vain, nor does He do any work worthless. It can be said that, in doing so many works, GOD'S PURPOSE is to make PERFECT EVERYTHING He WANTS to make PERFECT. In any free time He has outside of it, He will remove those who are evil. ☀️
You must know that He does not do this great work because of the wicked; rather, He gives His all because of the few people He will make perfect. The WORK He DOES, the WORDS He SPEAKS, the MYSTERIES He REVEALS, and His JUDGMENT and PUNISHMENT are ALL for the sane of those FEW PEOPLE. 🙏
He did NOT become a MAN because of those who were BAD, and especially they did NOT provoke Him to anger so much. He tells the TRUTH, and SPEAKS of ENTERING, because of PERFECT WORKS; He became MAN because of them, and because of them He could grant His PROMISES and BLESSINGS. ☀️
The truth, entrance, and life in humanity that He speaks of is not labored for the sake of the wicked. He WANTS to AVOID TALKING to those who are BAD, INSTEAD He WANTS to GRANT all the TRUTH to those who will be made PERFECT.
But His work requires that, for the time being, He allows the WICKED to ENJOY some of His RICHES. Those who do not practice the truth, do not please God, and interfere with His work are all evil. They CANNOT BE MADE PERFECT, and GOD HATES and REJECTS them. 😪
On the other hand, PEOPLE WHO DO the TRUTH and PLEASE GOD and SPEND their WHOLE SELF in GOD'S WORK are the PEOPLE GOD WILL MAKE PERFECT. 🙏
Those whom GOD wants to make PERFECT are none other than this GROUP of PEOPLE, and the WORK GOD DOES is for the BENEFIT of these PEOPLE. The truth He speaks is for those who are WILLING to DO it. He does not speak to people who do not practice the truth. ☀️
The growth of knowledge and the growth of understanding that He says is aimed at those who can practice the truth. When He speaks of those who will be made perfect, He is speaking of these people.
The WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT is FOCUSED on PEOPLE who CAN do the TRUTH. 🙏
Things like having wisdom and being human are dedicated to people who are WILLING to DO the TRUTH. Those who DO NOT PRACTICE the TRUTH may HEAR MANY WORDS of TRUTH, BUT BECAUSE they are by NATURE VERY EVIL and are NOT INTERESTED in the TRUTH, all they understand are doctrines and words and empty theories, which have not the slightest value for upon their entry into life. Not ONE of THEM is FAITHFUL to GOD; they are ALL PEOPLE WHO SEE GOD BUT CANNOT REACH Him, ALL of THEM are CURSED by GOD. 😪🙏

Fulfillment of "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, lamentations, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His clothes were stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God." (Rev. 19:13)
The kingdom He brought down and built in the worthy holy place in the highest in the sky and when all the humanity He created in the universe was occupied by it and it was engraved in His holy name and owned by His disposition "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 this is the fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) The Lord Jesus said, "And I say to you, Peter, on top of this eunuch I will build my Church, which will not prevail against him even the fear of death.". ... and fulfillment of "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... and fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem"💫 "The Spirit covered me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." (Rev. 21:10). ... "For the time has come in the matter of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." 📩 God's sheep are called and led to His glorious Throne in "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 to submit again to His authority so that He can continue to teach us, guide us and protect us even in plagues, disasters, famines and wild animals It will not move us, and to completely win the war with the big red dragon in this final battle!. ... The fulfillment of "They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... Fulfillment that it will be built in the highest of the sky that in our Millennial generation that is UA-cam in (Isaiah 2:2 / 9:6) "In the last day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. This is the best ever way to tell the world about Jesus. He brought out every aspect of a person's strengths and weaknesses and gave us tools to grow more like Him.
This fabulous group of actors coming together to teach and show the world what life may have been like during the time Jesus walked on Earth is awe inspiring!

Love it, this was my first time attempting to do season 1 I've been watching it and I must say between the tears for questions the scenery the characters I was awestruck. I appreciate every person that's involved the writer's you made it come alive the Bible I'm 73 years old and this is an opportunity I will cherish for the rest of my life, hopefully watching this we can get it right. I pray that you continue to have the courage to go forth with the other Seasons I've asked God to bless the writers the characters in will wait with expectations what you going to do in the future.

When I started watching the chosen the first time I was literally judging it but then I actually asked my Lord if I should watch it or if it’s wrong for me to watch it and He told me to watch it that He will teach me through it and that’s exactly what our Lord Jesus did ❤ I’ve grown in my faith watching this show because there’s nothing impossible with God and He has used this show to grow me in faith and I’m definitely sure His doing it with a lot of other’s 🥰 God bless you all brothers and sisters in the chosen and God will continue to use you guys to reach more hearts 🙏🏾

I watch the out takes as much as possible. I love the show and the cast. Nathaniel is one of my favorites! Tell him I walk 10,000 to 13,000 steps once a week just mowing my yard. One thing for me I get to see the efforts of my steps right away.
