Medina county rib burn-off demo derby 1988

This was my first car I owned. It was a 78 Cordoba (rust bucket) I drove this car over the summer until I decided to put brakes on it. the car was not worth repairing... so I wanted to derby it. My dad ran the derby back in the day, why shouldn't I. So we stripped her prepped her (weld rear, chain doors, changed cooling fans, coathangerd the decklid down, seat belted the hood down,(( I know , but it was 1988, no one know of #9))built a gas tank, and moved the battery....
about half way through the heat race i had ran over somebodies bumper and cut my gas line... and in the consolation i spit the driveshaft out the rear..

chrslyer are good cars to derby i know some body that drove the same type of car and got 3rd
out of 26 cars
