Good Information. I've seen several "tests" of the Ecoflow systems and most just test light loads and at short durations. BUT YOU, WOW right out of the gate you throw a hot plate on it. Electric chainsaw , coffee maker and toaster are all good hard tests for the system. I can't really justify the system for myself but you gave it a very good run and fair endosement. Plus, you had a great time with the family. Thank you for sharing.
We had a tented camping trip when I was young, it rained so hard on the first day dad dug a moat around the tent. Mum washed clothes in a huge wood fired copper, we explored and caught fish off the wharf with homemade fishing gear. Wonderful, still remember 60 years later. Kids don't forget these times.

The induction ranges are efficient and light weight and cheap. No need for the heavy and slow mass plate ranges. Only down sides are the fan noise and the need of magnetic bottom cookingware.
I had an EcoFlow River fail, but they were very quick to send me a label to have it repaired. I got it back fixed about a week later, no questions asked and no cost. Very good after sales service. They are expensive, but IMHO worth it.
Yes they are pricey, but after buying all the individual components to build my own equivalent system, it would work out to be a similar cost and would be a lot heavier and not as user friendly

It was a freebie..and broke down 6 months later... they sent him another.. and Marty fixed the old one with Ecoflow's blessing.... (sending him a new one was easier than dealing with NZ Customs re export for repair and reimporting later (plus freight there and back)
Marty Congrats on showing the Unit and its power, Your channel is one of the best for showing everyday use of a Portable Power Supply that a Family Can use away from the Home. Most other channels get the unit show a cup of water being boiled and that's it where you have shown the recharge time in the wild and the Different power needed to charge appliances and there power consumption on the Unit i am thinking that would work very well here in Thailand when out in the Rice Paddy's. Great Vlog Mate. :)
Now, allow me to pontificate - besides the generator and PERHAPS the tent, Marty's entire outlay for mechanical conveyance for this glamping trip is about $47
@@johnenright Considering a good generator thats never gonna be as lightweight as this setup is 2500 bucks and count in fuel these days easily over 100 bucks if you are going for a week on a camping trip. Its not THAT expensive all things considered.

The thing with batteries is once you go over 80% you wear the batteries out by tremendous amount, you might get 400 charge cycles (as an example) on a regular battery by going 0 to 100% But you might get 4000 charge cycles by just going 0 to 80% Batteries should honestly just be built by law with this redundancy, you buy a 1000mAh battery, but in reality its 1200mAh just so it lasts longer.

Looks like a great unit that would come in handy down here in Puerto Rico where the power goes out at least once a month...beats dragging out the gas generator for short term power failures...
I have a small portable power supply with a solar panel that I just used for the first time last week. The power went out for no reason, and the company said 4 hours to fix. I got the power supply out, hooked it up to my laptop to keep it charged up, and then plugged in my modem/router. We were the only one to have internet in my neighborhood.
That's just crack up, taking a vacuum cleaner camping. Just trying to picture you stuffing the boat full of camping gear, solar panels, coffee machine, chain saw and vacuum hahaha

All I can say is that I am very impressed with that Delta Max especially knowing that I can attach extra batteries and expand the capacity.
I think that the Delta Max is perfect for your glamping since it has 2kWh of capacity.

That Delta Max sure charges fast when using solar panels since it has a 800W max solar input.
Kinda think that I can also use that Delta Max as a back up power source in case of power outages since it has a 2016Wh capacity.
