I run tri-blades on my other FPV drones and totally agree, 4 sounds so much better on the Avata. I've had loads of flying time with the 4's since filming and the Avata handles so much better now. I've noticed less prop-wash, and the scary yaw-death-dive thing it does also seems less prevalent!
@@DanielDoesTech yeah that wash and diving issue is horrendous when that happens😂 will bust the av2 out for some more fun, do forget how good/different it is the the 5” and up fpvs
Ordered and got the 4 blades weeks ago, haven’t had the time to prep the comparison, but by your post, looking forward to trying them. Thanks for the post. Will let you know. However I DO wonder about your battery life. Even flying here in the USA, I get more than 10 minutes out of them. What’s your elevation where you are? I’m near sea level, so it may be the thicker air compared to your flying.
They are definitely a worthwhile investment, and only a little bit of a pain in the ass to swap over! My battery test was from 100% down to 50% so that might explain the difference in battery life (but for reference I'm about 70ft above sea level). I've been getting a solid 10-15 minutes of flight time on these new props for low speed flying (sub 20mph). Let me know how you find the Master Airscrew's once you've tried them out!
@@DanielDoesTech Hey! Well I finally made the time to install the Master Airscrews! WOW, should have done it sooner! They ARE nearly some 10 DB’s quieter than the originals! Performance sees like it will be better too! Funny how you seem to fly better when you’re being lest disturbing! Nearly no more noise than my Mini 4! LOVE them, and with the easy 2 screw installation, a No Brainer! I have the red ones too! Other point is, because of all the flying I’ve done with my original Mini 3, Mini 4 Pro, time I started flying (more thoughtfully) this was actually my first blade change on my Avata 2! LOL Lots of Thank You! David 🇺🇸
I'm glad your enjoying them! I feel far less self-conscious flying now that I know I'm not disturbing the peace quite so much. Go get some airtime! I've got the Master Airscrew props for my Mini 4 but haven't installed them yet so maybe a quick review of those will be on the way soon!
@ Yeah, after I put mine on, seems to measure nearest 10db quieter, and a lower pitch, and 15 standard minutes flying time which seems to be 3-4 minutes longer without trying. Enjoy!
Luckily, it didn’t look like a sunny day. Be careful leaving your goggles facing up to the sky like that you will burn the screen the lenses act like a magnifying glass
*I also have those propellers and they really work well*
*Congratulations on the video, you now have a NEW SUBSCRIBER* 😉👍🏻
Always preferred 3 prop but did like the 4s on the Avata

They are not an upgrade ! In acro and fast flight, they are not so good like the originals! More propwash and less flight time 😞
Might be worth buying as they do sound less offensive. I'm definitely not a fan of the look though 😅
Don't forget they come in red and blue too! 😂
I never really considered the aesthetic of them, I'm curious to know what you don't like the look of?
@DanielDoesTech They just look a little tacky to me. Maybe if they came in a Matte grey 🤣
The difference in sound is not worth the effort based on this

WTF is STEATH mode? LOL...Lack of proofreading before posting your video much?!?
