Your hair density is so rich! Your hair is the type to grow as long as you let it. Your afro is beautiful✨ Our hair loves twists. Clumping the hair with leave in conditioner and leaving it alone for 2wks at a time will be sure to give the hair alot of inches.
Definitely the trick I learned a year ago and I wish I would've known it earlier when the pandemic hit. Covid got me going natural and I had 4c, thick, shoulder blade length, healthy hair that I didn't even do the big chop. It's a bit longer now, but it probably would've been longer had I know to twist earlier and leave the hair alone since manipulation is usually the main reason for hair not growing.
Best low maintenance and I’d say zero tension style I personally like twist over mini braids because the detangling process is easier and much faster my twist parts are half the size that size they last about a month and I can wash my hair while they’re up if I band my ends it’s really a game changer.
@@malibooyaw Two strand twists are my go to low maintenance, low stress style and if your hair is detangled BEFORE you two strand twist your hair…NO…you basically just untwist then keep it moving on to the next with growth in tow.
@@jacquelynn2051 especially when my hair is throughly detangled with the tangle tweezer, I can only do medium and large 2 strand twists without my hair getting tangled. I’ll just have to admire mini twists from afar.
My arms would fall off midway. I suck at repetitive hair styles but it is so worth it once you're done. I did finger coils like 5 years ago. Needless to say I haven't done it since. 😂 I'm too slow.

they don't take terribly long. if you detangle right you can leave them in for around 2 weeks at a time. you can find a few episodes of a show to binge, if they're small you can just trace them with your fingers like the girl in the clip, and just twist absentmindedly while you watch. it takes care of hair and gives you something to do instead of snacking while you watch. i have locs now but that used to be my go-to hair strategy
