Billy and El, scientists for the Human Investigation Team, put together a team of super-powered individuals to deal with a secret government project to create a neutron bomb.
Wow! I've been trying to remember what this show was called for years! I was the only one who recalled it. I remember sitting in my grandmas bedroom waiting for night rider to come on and this comes on instead. I was hooked. Thanks for posting this.
Judging by the amount of views, I think people had as hard a time remembering the name of this show as I did...Thanks for posting this! I've missed this show
lol, I spent years thinking for an unknown reason that this was 21st jump street... maybe the overwhelming amount of 80s series fried my brain somehow. Anyway, good to know this show really existed.
Thought of this today, so fun to watch, still to this day when I see my brother in law, we give each other a ridiculous "AMEEEELIA!" call out, we thought that was just a hilarious part of this totally cheesy, totally 80's TV show. Love it.
mega prase thanks for getting this show up will be watching when I can I love heroes so much now becouse I rember this show growing up as a kid jhonny b was the best thanks for all the upload will watch theme till they get pulled lol.
WOW!!! As many of you are saying I thought I made this show up, no one knew it but me (and you guy's and gal's lol) Thank you Thedon817 you made me feel slightly less crazy.
@briandelamasa: Wow, you and me both...I was literally the ONLY ONE out of all my friends that remembered this show. I was beginning to think I imagined it!
This was my introduction to Kevin Peter hall and Courtney Cox. My father and I were thrilled to hear Thomas Dolby in the intro, and I was disappointed the show didn't do well enough to stick around longer.
@briandelamasa - lol @ Super Pursuit Mode KITT at the beginning... Used to watch the re-runs of this show along with 6 Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman and Automan on Sci-Fi back when it was still a decent channel and re-runs of KR on USA Network. Oh '93, 8th grade, good times...
Upon searching for the name of this series, I found out the 2 guys playing the doctors who set out to find people with supernatural powers died not too long after the show went off the air. One died a year or so after cancellation in a plane crash and the other died in 1991 of AIDS. Sad.
I'd be willing to argue that it's just because they aren't thinking to look for it. It hasn't even been here a year, yet. You gotta keep checking back for the obscure stuff on UA-cam, after all.
So did I...I was about 7 or 8 when it first aired and he was my first biggest crush..I remember I couldn't wait until it came on that night, I had butterflies all day LOL...He set the trend for the bad boy types I was attracted to later on in my years..
I remember the show from my childhood. Just watched the pilot. But Dr. Hayes is just a normal guy. Wasn´t he able to turn invisible? Or does my memory play tricks on me?
Dean Paul Martin was killed in a plane accident in 1987, so fans would have to get used to a different team leader and different overall chemistry, had the show done well enough to stay on the air.
I love how shameless a riff on Ghostbusters this show was. Hearse? Check. Sassy secretary making glib jokes about supernatural clients? Check. Fun, but completely derivative. Maybe it would have lasted if they'd have managed to get it on the air in the fall of '84. Lulz.
@firestepher72: This show was a flop and didn't garner enough high ratings, that's why it went off of the air. No other reason should be implied or indicated.
always liked the background music for the show
I haven't seen this since I was a kid... but I've never forgotten. Thanks for posting!!!
man, I was about 8 years old when I first saw these episodes. Thanks for uploading them. I remember the iceman so well! lol

I thought I was having delusions when no one I knew knows about this show. Thanks for proving me sane.

Way ahead of its time, this show. Most people didn't get it.

This is so much cheesier than I remember. I used to love this as a kid!
This show was way better than most of the episodes of HEROES
@briandelamasa: Wow, you and me both...I was literally the ONLY ONE out of all my friends that remembered this show. I was beginning to think I imagined it!
this and salvage 1 were my faves of that time ... man that was a long time ago
This was my introduction to Kevin Peter hall and Courtney Cox. My father and I were thrilled to hear Thomas Dolby in the intro, and I was disappointed the show didn't do well enough to stick around longer.
REMINDS ME OF MY 80S
Boy, do I miss the 80s!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Courtney Cox's first show
@dannyboiii19, the artist is Thomas Dolby and it is called "She Blinded Me With Science."

Mickey Jones (Ice) is always a hoot to watch. Ironically, Amelia Earhart's remains may have been found.
I can remember this when i was a kid
This show was so awesome and it was canceled much too soon. At least I thought so when I was 8. :-D

Every time I hear the song Jonhy B Good I think of this show...

"a radical new show" said in an old man voice. :-/

I always thought that Misfits of Science was like a knock-off of the movie Real Genius.
those 2 guys at the end are from MASH tv series
@EntwineCouture Well maybe the last couple seasons, but not the first one.
@thedon817 me too, thx u, i wasn´t dreaming
@Southport97 Except in the movie Real Genius no one had superpowers. Still a good movie just no superpowers.
@thedon817 "ohhh how I liked this series..."
@briandelamasa
No problem, I have the same kind of friends.
Scratch that, 5 months old.
I love how shameless a riff on Ghostbusters this show was. Hearse? Check. Sassy secretary making glib jokes about supernatural clients? Check. Fun, but completely derivative. Maybe it would have lasted if they'd have managed to get it on the air in the fall of '84. Lulz.

Translated by Babel Fish: "As I liked this series"
@thedon817 lol
