I think the closing tune of News at Ten is suitable and appropriate for that time of the day. Mum and Dad used to ride Honda motorbikes.
The ITN news theme music always use to scare the shit out of me as a kid. So dramatic!! Sandal Gall looked like a man who's face had melted...still I miss those times. The good old days of television broadcasting.
When this was aired on 24/6/81..Bjorn Borg was 5 times reigning champion and still on his 41 match undefeated streak.
Three days before my 21st birthday!
Theme use to scare me but brings back great memories of either being told bedtime by parents or school holidays as you grew older. I'd be 4 years old a month later
I remember that John Bull ad, and the one for salad dressing. Oh boy i'm ancient.
Great Video
god!!! i was 23!!!!
These days, News At Ten is more like Brass Eye!

Actually, sorry but those on the right are just different parts of this same report, isn't it? I bet if you did a search for "old ITV news" or "old BBC news" you will find some.
Whatever happened to the windsurfer?
Nothing on the Internet..
I was 3 myself. How posh are the accents of the news presenters?! Thank God class is not as important anymore, I don't think I could stand to hear my news presented in those silly voices every dinner. Coolhouse, if you look at that list on the right you can see more old news reports.
Mcenroe typified America, back then as today. A land of Prima Donna children in adult bodies, whining, cryie, bragging and blustering. He was the Trump of the tennis court, but with actual talent.
