You look great in that cool toned blue red color. That is a color that really looks great on you. We have the same skin tone. My hair is dark brown. I was told it was a mouse brown when I was 14 years old so I always color it. But your hair color is darker and prettier than mine. But I also look good in cool toned reds. Love these yarn reviews. I watch them all while crocheting. So I’m trying to come back and comment. I know how much it helps.

I did all your hats in this crochet along. I love doing them but this one was not my favorite. I don't like doing the herringbone double crochet but I pushed through it. The hat turned out a little big but it will fit a bigger kid or adult. Thanks for the crochet along and I hope to send 20 blue hats to Lionbrand for the anti bullying campaign. I'm half way there now thanks to you. ♥️

Thank you Crystal, this is one of my favorite stitches. I had a variegated yarn ready, but went back to my stash for a solid. Great call! I do prefer the solid to a yarn with multiple colors for the herringbone dc stitch.
If you decide to do another marathon in the warmer weather, perhaps a wash rag-o-day would be fun! As I was washing my car earlier today I was thinking of crocheting up a wash mitt with the loop stitch. One side cotton, one side scrubby.

I just got done making this hat for the Campaign, but I must admit that it was NOT my favorite stitch/pattern and I probably will NOT use ut again, UNLESS it's in a combination with another stitch!
I have crochet all the hats that YOU designed for the #HATNOTHATE CAMPAIGN....and a few of your other patterns and I am going to go through All of your hat patterns so I can continue to make some more! Am hoping to make as many as I can till Mid July so that I can SEND them to Lion Brand BEFORE the August 1st deadline! I love doing a more simple hat design and simple doesn’t mean bad in any case but I love when I do a simpler design to show off a really spectacular or very special yarn… So this would be a great pattern in one of those instances. I like that it’s got some texture and there’s not too much going on it’s really beautiful and you can enjoy how well the stitches are made then that beautiful herringbone stitch is just one of my favorites

This is **exactly** what I was looking for! I am making a hat & scarf set for my daughter. I'm working on the scarf right now and it's made using herringbone rows and each color is changed using rows of fpdc/bpdc. So I was looking for a hat that would go with the herringbone, and I'll do the bottom two rounds with fpdc/bpdc. So of course I came to your channel to see if you had a nice simple beanie that I could use herringbone with and THIS one was the FIRST one I clicked on, LOL! I do kind of wish your hat tutorials would say in the title what kind of stitch is used... they all just say "crochet unisex beanie". But wow I got lucky and clicked on JUST the right one very first try!!! Thanks, Crystal!!
