Sweetwater is really the best. One of the only places where the service teams are allowing it to stay relevant in the Amazon world. That said, too bad you can't get a B3 on Sweetwater anymore :)
Katie absolutely BLISTERED those vocals!! Holy cow, Katie and Jessica are on fire on the high harmonies! Austin slayed the keyboard solo! And the rest of the band nailed their parts as well. Boston is not an easy band to cover, and once again, all y’all in the LLB make it look easy. Thanks again for helping to keep the greatest music alive!!
The keyboard blasted it! And I learned something with this one as I work my way through the inventory...if you watch an LLB video "while" wearing an LLB t-shirt, it comes through in 3D! 🙂 Nicely done all around.
I’m constantly blown away by the way LLB is accurate to the original song I remember listening to on the radio. The preparation the band members must make to take apart and learn their individual part, then come together as a band and put it all together so well, is nothing short of amazing. And Austin was absolutely perfect!
Using a female vocalist to cover what Brad Delp originally did.. Shows what an amazing male vocalist he was and the tremendous upper range and power he had. Your female vocalist choice to cover this was spot on... amazing tribute to Brad.
Fantastic rendition of my favorite Boston song. Came to see Austin rip through the Hammond solo, was not disappointed. Great lead vocal by Katie as well.
Oh so good!!! Those keyboards are outstanding! Everything so good! The harmonies, the drumming! All of it! I’m smiling, I’m crying, I’m grooving, and I’m grateful! Thank you LLB for another gem!
That was one brilliant performance!! Austin's keyboard was flawless. Everyone's vocals and every instrument meshed with this song. Very well done LLB!!!
I think that next to "Yes", Boston is the hardest band to do a good cover of. Good job on this. I saw them on their first and second tours back in the '7's and Brad Delp sounded jut as good live as he did on the recordings. Oh, and it was LOUD. lol
Ya'll pulled that together tight!! Everything was SMOKING!! Damn straight, all guitars, all vocals, drums and the killer keyboard work, shit yeah!!!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
What’s not to like, fricking great. Love this group, the hard work, dedication, passion, and fun they bring is amazing. Thank you Lexington for sharing your talent with all of us. God Bless
I've heard that the music that came out when you were 13 will always sound the best, throughout your whole life. Can't beat those first two Boston albums.
Even Tom has a tough time playing that crazy keyboard part live.... This was actually better than some of the live clips I have seen of Boston doing this song. Another mind blowing performace. Perfect in every element, as always.
I can't believe what I just heard. Astonishing accuracy and a truly superb performance! Just brilliant using Katie as a lead vocal for this song. I am totally convinced that LLB is the all-time BEST tribute band in the world today! Period!
Tom Scholz is an absolute stickler for perfection, so much so that he recorded most of the instruments himself! I'm pretty sure he would appreciate LLB's attention to details! Well Done!!!
I've listen to this song at least one hundred time since I was 17. Your cover is outstanding with a huge organ part ! And the voice nailed it perfectly ! Congrats to you all !
Huge Boston fan here. I rarely listen to covers. Most vomit all over the songs and try to make them something they aren’t. Not this. It’s perfect. The talent in the room is evident. The lead singer (who I’d run away with if given the chance 😍 ) nailed it. Outstanding.
Honestly, a couple of years ago when I discovered LLB I was blown away by the work on Boston's music. In the front of my mind was the nagging thought, "man, I wish they had done Smokin' to round out the set of Boston greats." Good things come to those who wait! As other commenters have said, you guys nailed it in every aspect of the song. What has always intrigued me is that you do multiple performances to get as many camera angles as possible. To maintain that edge, that feeling of nearly losing all control by the singers is amazing. Tremendous energy all the way around. Then the editing, the mixing and the final cut must be a labor of love. Dig it! Y'all are cookin'.
Austin, wonderful performance. You make it look so easy. Katie, you were brilliant. Fantastic contribution from the LLB on one of the greatest songs ever recorded.
I just realized after 40+ years, this is now for me the best Boston song ever. This cover really shook me and can compare to the original. LLB you did it again. More than a usual.
LLB’s Boston playlist is 30 minutes of the best cover work you can find anywhere. Every performance is a tribute to the original artists. I play this every time I do a workout - it’s a perfect blend of intensity and inspiration to keep me motivated.
I'm from Boston, in 1976 I was 16 and they had a show at Boston garden, the demand was so high they added 3 more nights, ,4 shows was unheard of, but the songs are amazing, songs Tom wrote are just some of the best soaring rockandroll you could ask for.
Katie is amazing and then the backing vocals ... and the sound of Boston was perfect Austin did a perfect job also great guitarsolo - perfect cover as always
Good gracious. Spectacular! Every time I hear this song by Boston, I start to rethink my choice for my all-time favorite song. "Smokin'" may one day take the #1 spot, and some of the credit goes to LLB. Watching that keyboard work - and hearing the whole thing come together with tremendous impact - is truly inspiring. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. 😀

Sweetwater is the best
Sweetwater is really the best. One of the only places where the service teams are allowing it to stay relevant in the Amazon world. That said, too bad you can't get a B3 on Sweetwater anymore :)
That Hammond Keyboard was so good... Well done
I'm sorry guys but I got yours t shirt and found it too beautiful poor quality and overpriced.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🏴🏴🏴☹️☹️☹️
That Hammond makes this song!!!!!.......Outstanding!
Blistered is right. I can’t swallow!
Giving the late lamented Brad Delp a run for his money.
That's probably as close as anyone could get, note for note on the keyboard for this song. WOW
The keyboard blasted it! And I learned something with this one as I work my way through the inventory...if you watch an LLB video "while" wearing an LLB t-shirt, it comes through in 3D! 🙂 Nicely done all around.
Dude those vocals!!!!!!! Harmony!!!!!!!! Piano!!!!!! Guitar!!!!!!!!! Drums!!!!!! Wow - you guys blow me away every time with these covers!!!
You’re damn (right) skippy!
What he said.
And the steady bass
EXCELENTE MÚSICA PROGRESIVA
The fact that a woman is singing lead gives you an idea of how unique Brad D. was.
Yup - and SHE did a fantastic job! But Delp was incomparable.
Brad’s voice WAS Boston! His voice was one of a kind!
The fact that this entire song was played by one man minus the sing8ng, gives you an idea of how unique Tom Scholz was
Her being a woman is meaningless. You either like it or not. I do not. But this band is amazing.
My IPad just burst into flames…it passed away happily though. Great performance by everyone.
I’m constantly blown away by the way LLB is accurate to the original song I remember listening to on the radio. The preparation the band members must make to take apart and learn their individual part, then come together as a band and put it all together so well, is nothing short of amazing.

The organ player was on fire!
You might even say he was
smokin'
Good lord! I don't even know how to comment on this. Anything I say wouldn't be complimentary enough.
You don’t realize how much work goes into the mixing and mastering until you here some bad stuff. Fantastic work by the engineering team.
Holy cow! Unbelievable keyboards man!
Sweet Jesus! Unreal…….
Katie pulling notes down from the attic and Randy digging his notes up from the basement with the rest if the band tight--alright! Thank you :)
Wow! Surprised by the choice for lead vocal but her voice was amazing and perfectly captured the energy from the original. Well done - again- LLB.
Using a female vocalist to cover what Brad Delp originally did.. Shows what an amazing male vocalist he was and the tremendous upper range and power he had. Your female vocalist choice to cover this was spot on... amazing tribute to Brad.
Exactly what I thought! The talent in this group is never ending!
Fantastic rendition of my favorite Boston song. Came to see Austin rip through the Hammond solo, was not disappointed. Great lead vocal by Katie as well.
There are no negative comments here
He absolutely had the keys SMOKIN!
As always, LLB rocks a Boston song! You are the only band that recreates Boston perfectly. Thank you for sharing your immense talents with us.
Not quite true…check out Band Geeks version.
@@adriannorris1486indeed a good version. I like both though…
And the hscc band. Or something like that, I think they are a little better. But both are amazing
Fuck man - you guys tore this UP! Most excellent work with this tune!!! 🤘🏻✌🏻
Oh so good!!! Those keyboards are outstanding! Everything so good! The harmonies, the drumming! All of it! I’m smiling, I’m crying, I’m grooving, and I’m grateful! Thank you LLB for another gem!
Oh my word. This girl is a boss! Love it.
That was one brilliant performance!! Austin's keyboard was flawless. Everyone's vocals and every instrument meshed with this song. Very well done LLB!!!
I think Austin is even faster on those keyboards since he cut his hair! Ha ha ha. Fantastic as usual. Don’t stop!
No leash needed on the organ man. He is still there!
Wasn't sure this was gonna work with a female lead, but she killed it.
Wow. What a tribute to Tom Scholz! I can now appreciate his genius even more. No better honor. You guys nailed it again!
I think that next to "Yes", Boston is the hardest band to do a good cover of. Good job on this. I saw them on their first and second tours back in the '7's and Brad Delp sounded jut as good live as he did on the recordings. Oh, and it was LOUD. lol
Please do Deep Purple Lazy or Highway star with Austin on the organ. He is amazing on those keys.
OMG! I was just thinking of this. (But please not Smoke on the Water ;-) )
17 years old when this came out and wore that record out! Cant praise you guys enough on the fantastic job. Well done🤟
Couldn't agree more, I literally wore my first album out.
@@randyreading8317 Ya I sort of wore my 8 track out too
15 yrs old for me and STILL wearing this record out!
So many speeding tickets attributable to this song & album.
Great performance everyone and tell Austin that the haircut is Smokin'!
Ya'll pulled that together tight!! Everything was SMOKING!! Damn straight, all guitars, all vocals, drums and the killer keyboard work, shit yeah!!!!!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

same. the dude on the hammond is an absolute keyboard genius!
I agree. Hard to believe this copy band exists.
Oh my my! The power of the instruments with just the perfect vocals. Excellent!
Well, .... I guess I better come up with a nickname for Katie. Hey, ... how about calling her, The Hammer, because she Nailed It!
Austin my man. SPECTACULAR work on the Hammond! Spot on. Smokin’ indeed. 😎👍🏼❤️
Tight band
Smokin ⭐️✋🦅🗽
Tom Scholz is an absolute stickler for perfection, so much so that he recorded most of the instruments himself! I'm pretty sure he would appreciate LLB's attention to details! Well Done!!!
The keyboard player is GREAT!

One of the best versions I've ever heard of a rocking song. Kudos to all especially the organist!

Quite frankly, this was stunning. Vocals were killer, and "Vitucci" should be a verb.
The guy on the organ was killing it.
