Panama was my first attempt at learning. Started in 2009 and never tried VH from intimidation. Glad I did now! Couldn't imagine the time you've put in to confidently play in a cover band. Props!

There are heaps of articles and interviews with eddie where he bs's and always changes his story but truth be told most early van halen is in between

Michael Anthony has said in many interviews that most of the time Eddie made him play very simple bass lines. Eddie literally wrote them and said to him to play like that. I bet it was frustrating for MA but he was not willing to confront the band's leader, so he did was he was told to do.
