Rafting in Rishikesh on the Ganges River

This is a video that I shot while rafting on the Ganges River in the Himalayan foothills of Rishikesh, India. The Hindi song that I used is "Phir Se Ud Chala" (I Flew Once Again). It was written by the renown composer A. R. Rahman and was featured in the 2011 Bollywood film "Rockstar." The singer is Mohit Chauhan. Hindus consider the Ganges to be sacred and many tourists from all over India and all over the world come to visit and enjoy the river's beauty. Rafting trips are one of the many ways that you can experience the Ganges. I had so much fun doing this that I actually did it twice! Both times were with the same rafting guides, Divyam and Kamal, who work with a tour company called Adventure Himalaya. Be sure to check them out if you find yourself in Rishikesh.
