It is very interesting to read the small stories in the game's illustrations carefully. That golden circlet on Wukong's forehead was given to Tangsanzhang (Wukong's Shifu or master）by the Buddha in order to control Wukong's power. Tangsanzhang also learnt a spell to tighten the circlet that will cause enormous pain and headache to Wukong.
Some said Buddha broke his promise in order to control Wu hong. He lied to Wukong, instead of removing the circlet, he hid it on Wukong's head @hyeung1

(5 Finger Mountain) The story begins when the monk's destiny is to find Wukung and set him free, however he must become the monk's disciple and follow him on a journey to the west by foot. During the journey, they have to overcome 81 difficulties of life and death, fighting evil demons and testing their faith and comradery
