I know you didn't intend for it to be so dark but I think that stain looks awesome that little box down at the end of your bed you can do that in the same thing just use it all over your van is going to look awesome!! Just my opinion...
The dark stain looks good, first thing I saw when I opened up. Hope the water tanks hold, a small rv water pump is cheap and easy to mount for shower etc. are you going to hit the road before the freeze up?

Jordan got a question why a cooler ? Wouldn't a plug in small fridge be better ? Keeps the beer cold etc !!!!
