use a filter on buddy heater when not using 1 lb tanks. 1lb tanks are very clean. Larger tanks bad about getting trash. Will clog your buddy heater. I got mine at Lowes for less than 10 bucks.

it screws on where one lb bottle goes, then you hook up to it
