When you think of the size you need to consider to get the same value, you need two canon chargers, a 10000mah power bank, and if traveling the possibility of a plug adapter(s). So all added together probably a very similar weight and size in you pack. And it will meet current airline rules for external batteries. I think I am going to pick both items up. I actually picked one up just the other day. It does a really nice job charging the batteries I use in my R5 and R6 Mk II, and it saves me from needing to carry those chargers in my bag. Very good value.

Richard, what I would like to see is a dual charger that can do LP E19 batteries in the car, the Canon one for the R3 as you know, is bulky and can only charge one at time, which is a pain

You can buy a cheap-ish one on Amazon but it's really not that cheap and does it actually do any good, I've seen mixed reviews on this! Such a limiting option when on the go for the LP-E19 batts! @ one day id like to do a meet up and do more in the way of exotic wildlife, but in the mean time, I’m doing my local patch along the River Trent and RSPB Frampton. The Lincolnshire coast especially the Wash is excellent for wading birds and the sunrises are breathtaking in the Winter month.

12400mah is a really unhelpful measurement. It is just the rating of the internal batteries, not a rating of how much energy it can actually put into cells nor its efficiency. As a battery bank this is quite expensive and low specced. However, it is a really good idea thinking out of the box and giving features that no others provide. It also seems to charge the new LP-E6P batteries so great to see a company being up to date and innovative.
As for the fast charger, that does look interesting. I have been involved years ago testing batteries and chargers for the LP-E6 as part of a university project. Some were truly awful or even dangerous. Things have changed in the last few years and it is nice to see what appears to be to be an excellent product. I would love to teardown one or see the schematic but that is just the engineer in me. This is actually a product I will probably buy.

Been looking for a twin battery charger Q1 How long does it take for ethier to recharge 2 batteries . If the batteries have 10 % LIfe left ( 1 bar of power ) . Q 2 After charging 2 how much power is left ?? Q3 Does have enough left to charge 4 / 6 depending .. on how many batreries a person will take and has used during a single day ..!! They would be handy if one is camping out overnight or two .. but if your out trekking over a weekend ( fri sat sun ) or longer would be dead after 2 nights use possibly if your charging more than 2 batteries !! .. I take 8 batteries and i rarely ever use 4 during a day . Depending on camera useage .. On a normal day i can get 8 hrs use with the 90D , With the 5DSR 4 / 6 hrs again depending on useage . I possibly would invest in ethier as it would save me taking my plug in chargers when staying overnight at Dunoon
