Awesome video! Perfect solution to a border on a cardigan. The pattern said to do the border separately, then whipstitch it onto the sweater. Your method looks sooo much nicer and finished. Thank you for posting this video!!

I’m trying to work the border on a blanket. Tried the same size hook and a smaller hook.
At this point think I’m going to use the large hook and give it another try.

I love this border!! Your instructions are perfect! It is easy but mine is coming out wavy not flat almost seems like too many stitches. I started slip stitching 3 stitches between and it helps but still wavy and I am 3/4 through the first side. Any ideas?

I just finished a baby blanket using this edging - I played around trying to get an invisible seam for the join - I figured a really simple to sew the edges together and you can't tell beginning to end. Have to find your website to share.

How do you join the last corner to the beginning ribbed edgeing ?
This is actually helpful, I just finished my first simple sweater. I crocheted two panels with a ribbed border and then stitched together and work on the sleeves. Then finish the sleeves with a ribbed cuff. I got the ribbed border on the bottom of the panels perfect but the cuffs got flared out and look a bit weird. This will hopefully help when I try it again with different yarn!
What kind of yarn did you use to make this blanket and what size of hook? Did you by chance make a tutorial on the blanket itself? Beautiful!!!

Thank you for your video. Im working on a Christmas stocking that has ribbing at the top and I thought maybe what I was doing wrong was how I was flipping my work. But by watching your video , I think im ok there. The problem Im having is with the sc blo is the little ribbed design is coming out the other side, not on the front side where I want it. Could you Please Help!! It would so much be Appreciated.

Yes you should do that first. It acts as a sort of foundation for the border itself.

Do you have any videos showing how you do your corners? I've watched a few videos and you don't tend to do the corners on camera. When it comes to phrasing, I don't fully understand it; I am a visual learner.
