I was 14 in 2004, a kid at my high school got shot in the head, survived and was still gang banging. It’s an unfortunate addiction (the streets) that plagues every generation.
And his name he put in atmosphere
Damn same happened to me in 07 but it was neighborhoods not gangs
Thats not an “addiction”… thats a kid who got brain damage lmfaoo whatre we talking about, Most ppl who get into gangs arent doing it bc its trendy, theres often real socioeconomic reasons. Like poverty, or your first real sense of family/community, or they lure you in by helping you when youre broke so you owe debts, etc etc etc etc. how do yall think the mob operates
Even if he tried to stop he probably owed ppl and would’ve been brought back into that life
You can’t say RIP to a man that didn’t want peace while on earth
CW said it best but ppl get mad
Damn. You kinda right
SAD FACT😢💯💯😕 SMFH
Facts....The way These kids are devaluing Human life is beyond insane. Absolute Wickedness.
I disagree he wanted peace but he knew there was nothing that he could’ve been done. Watch a short clip called Yungeen Ace vs Julio Foolio Beef when he was interviewed. He had a big smile saying what if we all can get together as one then after that he was sad. He knew he couldn’t change nothing. He got tired overtime
When Dee-1 said this y’all called him a clout chaser smh. He was right and y’all owe him an apology.
💯💯💯
Facts
Who?!
@KingWiz912 he's a Christian rapper
Drill Rap and Hiphop are different. Because with Drill Rap someone will be murdered.
Tupac, Big L, Biggie, etc didn't die because of drill rap. The label doesn't matter. It's poor tough guy street culture + America's gun issue + private prisons (look up the fuck shit owners of private prisons do to ensure they get bodies).
Pac and big, xxx, and more. It’s not the music it’s the overall culture
@@hansolodolo92 agreed
But hip hop created Drill. The difference is these new kids actually kill eachother where as the older rappers were just promoting it. Both are guilty.
Thank you.
Dee-1 been saying this EXACT thing and you had all smoke for dude. You owe that man an apology.
FACTS
Cw says it all the time but they don’t even like him
Exxxxactly!! 💯
Why you such a hater on Dee 1 Joe?? Cuz you a Christian hater? You mad at God Bro? Maybe you need to work that out yo! But to hate on another brotha who speaking life & wanna see the senseless violence stop is straight wack

If thats the case. Tupac and Biggie died for fame too then right?
This is the shit Dee1 talks about in y’all clowned him. Cant take yall serious
💯
What did they say about Dee?
They didn't clown him as much as saying he was clout chasing. My thing is,even if he was clout chasing to generate a discussion. I don't see the issue because it's for a good cause

Calling Jacksonville,FL a little town when it’s literally the largest city in the US in size is hilarious.

It’s true
Wishing RIP to a man who consistently spoke death!
Do people really think that Ace found out Foolio was dead at 5AM and shot, edited and released a music video all before 12PM, or did Ace have a video scheduled to be released on the 23rd?
Ish hit the nail on the head
He just had the video in the chamber and decided to drop it bro, that’s it. Video been finished. I’m sure Ace has multiple videos in the chamber
People just don’t think lol ..ace just capitalized off the situation same way foolio would’ve.
His latest song "Game Over" was the actual diss to Foolio's passing.
It could be either honestly…. I mean it wouldn’t have taken anything to shoot that video. That video is was like any local rapper shoot.
Mental health is a huge issue in these communities These guy’s are trained sociopaths due to the environments they live in after seeing horrible thing’s growing up PTSD is an understatement….
Jacksonville is one of the largest cities in the US PERIOD
5th largest to be exact.
Largest in square miles….
Duval County!!! Jacksonville Florida
Good city but it's nothing to brag about in 2024 y'all are looking like some clowns and destroying more black people than the KKK

Gangster rap is on trial. After 50 years of hip Hop has it helped our community egotistic wise? People mimics what they hear. It affects our frequency and our mind. We must edit our music or we are never going to see a change.
I agree
"We" sold out/sold hip hop. If we gatekeep our culture, we would have had more control over the narrative. As it stands, if you want the money and the fame the industry allegedly provides, you have to play the game by "their" rules. "He who controls the narrative, controls the people". He who makes the rules controls the game. We can't change what we don't control.
@@privatethoughts85Stop playing team sports with race
These rappers choose to make violent songs and promote them
@@allaboutthemurzic I think I understand what you were trying to say. What I'm saying is that they are all fruits from the same poisonous tree. They are all forms of "entertainment" in billion dollar industries and they all exists within a violent society as a whole. It's the whole tree, not just the branches or the fruits. IMO they're all direct reflections of society that normalizes all forms of violence and we all individually choose if and how we participate in it.
Sorry but non blacks listen to this music also. You don’t see them killing each other. This is a result of the culture amongst the black underclass. Stop putting all blacks in the box.
Companies aren't the reason these dudes are killing one another. Sure it's terrible to profit off it but even worse to actually do the crimes
Yea I’m getting tired of the “blame the label” convo. Are labels blood sucking parasites often, yes… But also these kids are getting opportunities to make a better life for themselves and music is an avenue to express pain/anger/sadness etc. And the artists from these environments choose to make the music they make…. And the public chooses to listen to the music with violence over the music that is uplifting. If uplifting music made more money companies would choose to push that.

Have trouble blaming the music when we know that poverty is the best contributor to violence. We know if the school system is terrible in a city you're going to have violence among teenagers.
