My liner was cut short and has pulled through the clip-on rail causing the liner to open up at top and sag into pool. I do not know what to do and was thinking to use waterproof tape to fix since I can't make the liner longer.
How do you decide how much of the liner overlaps the top edge. Too little and you have wrinkles on the side walls. Too much and it stretches the liner possibly too much.
Yes, it will be a little tougher to do but you can. Install 4 corners first (North, South, East to West) No particular order with that, than go around in the circle putting the rest of the liner material over the wall or in the receiver. Makes it easier if it’s a pattern to line up straight all the way around, and if it’s a overlap liner than its easier to get the same amount of overlap on the outside.
No were doing it with 2 people. Could use a third person. The top strip kept wanting to pop off, and were scrambling to have enuff hands to hold the liner on.
I have a intex pool the liner is tore at the bottom about 6 ft long I bought a,replacement liner but what will happen when it starts filling with water? will it bulge out where its tore?
I have a 30ft round 54" deep Jacuzzi pool and want to install an expandable liner next year. my current liner is 14 years old and has divets and lumps and misc weird misplaced sand over the years not to mention some leaks that I still can't find. I've always wanted it deeper, so I thought the expandable liner would be the way to go. any suggestions?
Yes, what we would want you to do is some simple measuring so we could order the liner. First to make sure pool is in the round measure across pool inside wall to inside wall, do two of these measurements like in a plus sign. Then would be to let us know how deep you are going to make the center. Give us a call at 1.800.356.3025 for a quote. Thanks
Gary! Thank youuuuuuuuu!!!!
After installing the coping strip you did not put the metal strip back on.

How difficult would it be to do this ourselves? We have a 16x32 ft pool. Needs a new liner. How many people do you suggest? And how long will it take?
I wanted to drop a comment and say Gary u are my dude!
What do you do with the excess liner that hangs over the outside of the pool. it looks ugly.
what do you do with the outside hanging leftover of the liner
Great Video Gary! Thx 🙏

I am wondering this exact same thing. We have an 18ft round and the liners are made to fit 48-52 depth.
@@kaymark2399I ended up installing a beaded liner that takes the guesswork out regarding the sidewall height.
I wanted to ask if you can put the liner in the pool and show how to lay it out so you can lap it over ?? Complete installation ??? The hard part ?
How do I know how much to overlap ?
Great help thank you
Glad we could help!
Will this work for pools with pole style frames?
Great video. Thanks. I assume that you can cut the excess liner off of the outside of the pool so it doesn't show?
When u cut out the hole's for your overlap pool liner how do u stop it from leaking around the filter
There is a belt at the bottom also
So it's been raining here and the sand is still a little wet can I put liner on top ?
question. I am a do it yourself kind of guy. In your opinion, can 1 person install a new liner sucessfully in an 18 foot above ground round pool?

thanks, I think I have a helper lined up, hope so?

@@yourpoolsupplieshow much overlap should you have on a 30ft round pool for a 52 or 54?
Is it possible to install a replacement overlap liner over an old j-hook liner?
