Love the "bleached" look. Will have to try it. Maybe if you'd used red card stock for the saying, then painted it; you might have liked it better than the painted on white looked.

I don't have distress oxides will try with my distress ink and see if that works.. if not will try a white ink pad.. or as a last resort bleach.. thanks for the inspiration :) it's only just after 6am here but when I see a video from you I have to see it before I do anything else lol
I'm with you I don't really like bleach either and I certainly don't want to smell it in my craft room. I guess I need to buy some more Distress Oxide ink colors as my pallet is limited.
Really hope you can reply to this please. I need help... When it comes to running dies through a machine, while using washi tape, I always run into the same problem. No matter how careful I am trying to remove tne tape after, it always removes bits of the top layer of card with it even more so when there is ink involved. Any tips, solutions, remidies welcomed please....?

Nice to see another 'old' technique make a comeback. Your decision to go with the white greeting was definitely the way to go.
This is a great " bleached" look without the bleach. I used to stamp with bleach years ago. Used liquid auto dish soap.

Gosh, why did I ever buy embossing pens? I forget to use them anyway, but I probably have an inky pen of some kind.
