Talk about perfect msle card! From tje gorgeous rusted background to the distressed stamps and foiled hearts! Oh wow I really love these techniques. You are a creative genius❤
I wasn’t sure where you were going with this card but as you were laying more and more on it with the stencils the more and more I was loving it, it’s got that steampunk look and the hearts put the finishing touch to it. So as usual you give us another great card that I absolutely love. Your truly amazing and make amazing cards.
I was so impressed with the eventual result of this stunning card. Just love what you did with the background using stencils over the inking and the hearts are very striking with the embossing and the black paint. Another artful creation Natasha.
I didn’t like this at all at first, but what a great end result! I love that your projects are so easy to try without buying expensive products. I think I’ve said that before and I’ll probably say it again!
I loved watching the process of this card. I decided that I had to try the hearts out as I already have the embossing folder that you used. Hunted all over town for some alluminium foil tape but there was none to be found. I had some foil looking cardstock and tried that but it was still a bit shiny looking. Then I found some metallic school book contact at the local newsagents and that worked wonderfully! Thank you so much for sharing your hints and tricks. 😀
I LOVE your videos and teachings. Right to the point. Not chatty. And lots of fun tips. I have some heavy duty aluminum foil on hand that I hope to try today. I love it when I don’t have to go out and buy special supplies, esp. now, during COVID 19 restrictions. Thank you, bunches and bunches!
I love your ideas and techniques! All of your cards are fantastically creative and I appreciate not only your creative skill but also your sharing it with all of us! thank you for all your creative inspiration and willingness to share!
The idea with the foil, die cuts, and embossing folders got my imagination going. I've made so many hearts, bugs, birds, etc. My husband is impressed. It looks so much like metal, but is so lightweight. I stuck aluminum foil to white card stock using Sizzix adhesive sheets and die cut it out in different shapes. Then I ran them through embossing folders. Use black or white acrylic paint to highlight. Awesome! Thanks very much for the inspiration!
Absolutely LOVE this card. Am definitely going to try this AMAZing idea!!! Thank you, Natasha, for your gift of creativity and for sharing it with all of us❣
Thanks for the tip with the foil & black paint. I was trying to think of something for my brother-in-laws birthday next month. I've been going around in my head about how to make a motherboard (he works at Intel) out of paper. You've started some great ideas floating around! Just hope I can catch them! 😊
A fun technique with an amazing result, a fantastic card for any gender. Is there no end to your talent? Thank you for sharing this talent, so appreciated.
I truly DIG this card!! I love mixed media techniques in card making. And your card, as always, turned out GORGEOUS!! Always looking forward to another vid. Thanks loads for sharing the INSPIRATION!! Arlene
Love this foil technique! And by the way, the Darice patch-work pattern embossing folder is called “Quilt Blocks” in case anyone else wants to try to locate one.
Love these two cards they both looked looked so different from just changing how you did the sentiments. Another great turtoural Natasha, thanks once again for taking time out of your busy life to film edit and up load your videos we all appreciate it 💕
I love this card. I was looking for a card to make for my sons 10th wedding anniversary which is "Tin" so this will be perfect. Thank you so much. I love your tutorials.
Nice and grundgey - love it, especially the colors, the use of the foil tape/embossing folder and vintage effect w/ the black paint - way cool. Beautiful card. One to definitely try to make on my own - its a fun project.
Natasha, you don't need a tim holz glass plate. Grab yourself a tempert glass chopping board. Or one off the BBQ silicone rubber sheets. They are black and nothing sticks to them . I brought years ago glass shopping boards but hate to cut on it because of the noise it makes. So they became placemats ( i have 4) . But now I use one for this purpose. Also i.use packaging instead of buying acetate, family keeps the clear windows from toys , tools and other. I use them for shaker cards. As well to layer cards with expensive card stock, i re-use cereal, tissue, and the like boxes, they are perfect. I cover them with thin paper ( they are in catalog, card making magazines, colourt copy paper, flower papers, napkins, origami paper and so on. Saves me heaps and looks as expensive as other cardstock.
OMG! THIS IS FABULOUS!!!! This is one your best tutorials. Your " steampunk" version is much simpler with such a dramatic result. I hope you make more videos like this.
