- Introducing Giant Attack, an event in the Battle Hub where you work together to take down Giant Akuma!
Fight SiRN Akuma on the cabinets to accrue enough points to fire Hadokens at Giant Akuma. Beating SiRN Akuma will garner more points than simply fighting him, but beware, this challenge can be nightmare-inducing. Partake in the event to get the chance to receive an outfit color for Akuma!
The event runs from May 22-31.

I like how Capcom gives him an entire different move set for this event.
In this instance, he is Shin(as or SiRn) Akuma. He always had some minor differences compared to normal Akuma as well as increased damage.
Extra bosses like this was one of the best things best things about Street Fighter 5
@Jr-Reed I never got around to sf5, it kinda just flew under my radar, but I hope they do more things like this.
Hopefully, this would mean future giant attacks can happen.
I want to get a run back with Master Ryu and Shadow Lady.

Technically its his old Super from 3rd Strike.
The entire hub charging a mega hadoken looks awesome. I’d love to see more boss fights in the future.

@@markdpane no. that'd still be m. bison. akuma is actually barely even considered a villain at all. if anything, he's an extremely dark shade of grey.

@@markdpane doing my research he’s less of a Evil Villain and more of a Dark Force of Nature, sure he’s one of the biggest Antagonists of the Franchise and he’s extremely Dangerous, Akuma is like a Corrupted Ryu that’s a Unstoppable Force and a Immovable Object Combined

Hey, remember Revalations' Raid Mode events where you work to take out giant enemies as a community. That was cool.
If you mean RE Rev2 then I'm glad to see someone remembers that goofy mode, pretty sure enemies were also kaiju sized😅 Those raids took me back to the guard in that one MGS VR mission for ps1.
@nocturnalscotsman yeah. You load up all your damage and crit and just unload. Day by day, you chip away at it. It was on the beach from the first game.
Those two supers need to be in the game!!!
Last one's name is kkz, if you want an example watch some third strike akuma, he could do it in that game

The first one appears in Capcom vs Snk2, I don't know the name, I just remember that it was insane to do that! Exclusive to Shin Akuma.. the legendary "tile breaker"
The SNK super is Misogi, which translates to purification. It featured in Street fighter X Tekken too. @@coldmastergto

For now you can actually turn into shin Akuma with his back taunt but you have to do some elaborate button inputs during the taunt for a while until he turns. It comes with all those new specials and everything

These types of events give purpose to play a game with every skill level of players. Solo event group event gives you prizes to unlock in-game customs, soundtracks, and stages cool 👏🏻👏🏻😎👏🏻👏🏻
Giving new supers just for the event? feels odd. I have a feeling you will be able to pick them in the future in main game

YOU CAN USE THE "NEW" SUPERS! Someone discovered this, you can use these "new" supers, after inputting Akuma's back taunt, and then input down taunt after Akuma turns his head back. After that, Akuma will have the two supers unlocked.
Additionally Akuma can also perform double aeiral Zanko Hadoukens from a forward jump
For those who don’t know, SiRN is a technology company in world tour mode. Given that this seems to be a “digital” Akuma, this seems to be some sort of virus Akuma instead of an actual shin Akuma. Cool way to go about it though!

He has EX Supers lol! @0:48 you can see it's a lvl 2 same as the one he did earlier for combo extension but this time he burnt drive meter and it went cinematic!
It might not actually burn driver meter since for some reason there’s a cut since you can see the timer go from 88 to 83 seconds and the music jumps weirdly there
@@LunaaLily I was thinking after the fact that I may have missed a cancel. But the fact stands that he has 2 similar supers that burn 2 meters which made me think with the addition of him burning drive gauge that it was an EX
