Did you get external funding for your research to get the NIRx headset? I am interested to use FNIRs in my research project but i can't find any affordable solution. Can you provide any advice on that?
Yes, we received a European grant to acquire the NIRx headset and it cost quite a bit. We created a public tender to have fNIRS companies submit offers to our lab. As advice, it's very helpful to be connected with an academic lab and specifically an existing assistant professor or professor.
One request is there from you , i am working on a project in which i need to get live data of the eeg from brain and then pre process it and then get recording of night sleep and divide the sleep stages of a person . i will be really thankful to you if you will reply to me and help me in my project
Seems like a reasonable project! The steps you need to take are: 1. Get the EEG headset connected in one way or another (like in the video) 2. Get a watch or an EEG product designed to give you the baseline sleep stages 3. Record yourself while you sleep (keep the computer next to you) and classify the sequences of recordings to the sleep stages you recorded with your smarthwatch or other EEG product 4. Use Pytorch to create a classification algorithm.
