Why does Adler kill Bell in Black Ops Cold War?

- At the end of the Black Ops Cold War Campaign, Adler kills Bell despite, at least canonically, Bell fighting through his brainwashing to tell Adler and the team where Perseus plans to launch the Greenlight nukes. So, Why would he do this? This video answers it.

It's really not that deep and people who hated on Adler for killing him is also stupid. You said the reason your self, he was a Perseus Agent but still makes him liability and a potential threat to the CIA etc. It is not that deep. Adler is a man of commitment and willingness to do whatever is needed to be done.

Even though canonicaly "bell" helped adler stop perseus he is very likely to still be loyal to perseus and have helped adler just couse he saw nuking europe as someting that is not worth it.

I just always found it weird why Adler took rebirth island so hard when if anyone should have, it was Mason and Woods. Always felt more like sperg rage than justified incredulity.
I know cold war wasn't too popular but I can wait for Gulf War campaign. New MW is pretty bad, but the revival of Black Ops is okay so far.

Plus he is like general shepherd with wanting to put up with loose ends. Plus Bells other twin Bell too killed off the teammates from miles off Pripyat. By having Perseus men and Perseus himself to activate the other green light nukes elsewhere and that itself caused some civil war in a country so neutral that the USA and ussr fight for the lands control. And this itself would almost spark a world war 3 scenario. The leaders of both superpowers realize how devastating it was that another nuke went off and destroyed both their allied nations cities off the map that they ceasefired and sued for peace. Although the USA and ussr rivalry ended. The Cold War isn’t though as Brazil and Draka are still competing for influence within Southern Africa. Even the apartheid government of South African union falls apart and Draka loses its African influence. And soon some of its land. Draka lost because of its people rising up against their slavocracy government. And Brazil helped out and gain influence all over the southern hemisphere. The oppressive Draka waned in popularity and influence. Draka is a shell of its former self that even some terror groups would soon form the infamous burning flag terror
Group. Who blame the nations that helped to bring an end to the slavocracy. USA, Russia, India, China, Japan, Western Europe, and Brazil. But that’s a story for another time.
I am actually really interested in Gulf War and the Black Ops 2 sequel, however...
And I'm not saying this just to stir up shit, but I just gotta get this off my chest. How the fuck is Treyarch the most respected studio? They haven't made a good game since 2015 with Black Ops 3, and they haven't made a great game since 2012 with Black Ops 2. Black Ops 4 was mediocre at best, and Cold War's multiplayer was God fucking awful!
MW2 was above average, if disappointing compared to MW 2019, and I think, at least Multiplayer wise MW3 is better than 2. And it's zombies are pretty kickass.
Again, excited for Treyarch's next games, they seem interesting setting and theme wise, if nothing else. But they have got A LOT to prove that they still got it as a COD studio.
you re missing the point, bo3 was a actually a very good game outside the campaign, cold war is probably the latest good cod released since 2020 till now, sure at first it was a mess cuz of low time of development but they fixed it overtime

Then again, you don’t explicitly see Bell’s body so there is a chance Bell could come back in Gulf War
