I just skimmed "Tampa" and it is disturbing by itself. But what I found really horrifying was a goodreads reviewer that places the teacher as a "prisoner", a "victim", and the two boys as the real villains, since they were the ones that got her arrested. Would normal people really think that? I guess the world is really an evil place.
Yes, Goth is indeed disturbing, I really liked Summer, Fireworks and My Corpse as well. Some disturbing stuff I've read: Panther by Brecht Evens and Clarissa by Jason Yungbluth. Uh, authors tackled disturbing themes in a very different, but equally effective way. Genuinely disturbing stuff. and based on your selection form Part 2, I think you would find them disturbing as well. Confessions, Penance and Out are my precious trio of japanese thriller books. :)
Great video Erin!! I Love Blood On The Tracks and Killing Stalking. I added some more books on my TBR. I totally agree that Killing Stalking is not a love story. It is very disturbing and I agree that I don’t think it is going to end well. Thank you for all your hard work in putting these videos together.
While I'm not sure I would read these (I am seeing what my threshold for disturbing is cause gotta look out for your mental health), it's still so interesting to hear you talk about them! Living vicariously through book discussion😂
Killing Stalking is completed :) it was originally a webcomic which can be read entirely on an app. Glad to see it featured and thank you for saying it's not a love story!!
Oh I know! I’m talking about buying it physically because that’s how I read it and how most people I know read it haha I’m not a big fan of reading manga or similar media online! Thanks for putting it in a comment for others though! 🖤
Okay that shirt is awesome. I am always grateful for your videos. I always find great books. The most disturbing book I have read is Dead Inside by Chandler Morrison. I immediately got rid of it after reading. I felt like 1000 showers couldn't clean off the filth. Maybe I'm a lightweight when it comes to extreme horror. Anyway, I love your content! 🙂🙂
Thank you, getting a couple of these, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Killing Stalking, vol 4 comes out this month. You can read it all online, and we definitely ship the main characters together 😂 amazing, disturbing and sad. Highly recommend Killing Stalking
@ErinMegan that really is unfortunate, you do an excellent job. Just finished your Uzumaki review, loved it. That was my first Junji Ito manga. May I recommend "Jujutsu kaisen" I been obsessed lol
Great list! The Laws Of The Skies sounds really interesting. I need some light reading after American Psycho. 😂 As an ex-teacher this could be extra disturbing. I was also conflicted about The Troop, so repetitive. Saving Noah actually sounds like a fun, interesting read.
Thank you!! Haha honestly, The Laws of the Skies is definitely a “lighter” read compared to some of these. 😂 Saving Noah is super interesting, I was surprised I liked it because of the topic it handles!

Gonna have to read it to find out
I love that Barbarian shirt 😍 Saving Noah is so messed up and sad! I didn't see the twist coming!
I’m obsessed with the shirt! 😭 Right? I wasn’t expecting it at all, totally wild!
Where did you find your Barbarian shirt?
I don’t know why you book tubers don’t get more views? You guys are awesome! I love your videos.
Thank you so much for the support!!
I feel that there just aren't as many people reading books
@@PlanetKaylah I agreed
Went back to watch the first one first lol some great recs in both videos look forward to next one 😊
Aw thanks so much for watching the first one too! I appreciate it! 🥰
Just went over and got earthlings on Amazon!
I hope you enjoy it!!

I really need to check out Otsuichi’s other stuff! Thanks for the recommendations! I’ll definitely check them out!
Great list. Take your time for the third list. You’re reviews are informative and succinct as always.
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! 🖤
*Not me* adding all of the books on this list I haven't read yet to my cart.
Hahaha a problem I know all too well! 🤣
Yes! I love your taste for disturbing books 🩶
Ah you’re so sweet! Thank you! 😭🖤

Thank you so much, you’re so kind! 🖤 I’m glad you’ve been enjoying Blood on the Tracks and Killing Stalking too!

100% understandable! I will gladly read and share my thoughts on all the disturbing books so you don’t have to! 🖤🖤

Thank you so much, that’s very kind of you to say! 🖤 omg Dead Inside is sooooo messed up. I couldn’t believe I actually read it. 😭
great video! adding a few of these to my list (:
Yay! I hope you enjoy them!

Of course!! I wish I wasn’t such a big physical reader or else I most definitely would have read it online already. 🤣
i love Blood on the Tracks! Have you read Vol 14 yet?
I have not!! I need to buy it asap!
Saving noah broke my heart, as a mom of 3 boys it made me hurt for noah and the mom. Please do list 3.
It’s a devastating read! I’ll definitely make a part 3!
Very interesting, I thought the law of the skies was a worse the lord of the flies and generally found the book rather bad
Definitely subjective! I enjoyed it and know people that feel the same, but I know people that also didn’t like it. Just depends on the reader.
Dear Erin, is the image on the front of Tampa what I think it is?
Hahaha it’s most certainly a button hole up close to look….inappropriate. 😅
@@ErinMegan oh my goodness! I’m sorry about that but it did look like lady parts x
I love "Blood on the tracks" please review more manga. The manga community has been booming and we'll appreciate the great reviews.
I talk about manga all the time!! Manga centered videos never do that well on my channel though, unfortunately.
@ErinMegan that really is unfortunate, you do an excellent job. Just finished your Uzumaki review, loved it. That was my first Junji Ito manga. May I recommend "Jujutsu kaisen" I been obsessed lol
Ok that shirt though 😍
Isn’t it sooo cool?! It’s from graveyard goods!
Tampa ruined my life 😭😭😂
Honestly, same. 😭😭🤣
Absolutely love your recommendations, as I love scary stories, but I must ask,
What Is the gorgeous color on your 💋? I must have!
Thank you!! 🖤 I’m wearing the Kaleidos Makeup cloud lab lip clay in Dahlia! 🥰
I want your Shirt!!!! I loved Barbarian. I want to read Earthlings solely because of the cute cover. 😂
I got it from graveyard goods!! It’s an awesome shirt! 🥰 hahaha the cover is very deceiving for Earthlings, but the book is still excellent!
