Did you keep the upper control arms from readylift when you switched to the icons? Great video .
Yes, i did as it seems to be a very good tubular upper control arm with 1 ton greasable ball joints.
If you’re gonna off-road fairly hard skip these and jump straight to king or fox 2.5’s. If you’re looking for a better street ride then these or bilsteins are good options.
Agreed. These are perfect for mostly street and Offroading occasionally. I would put these a level above Bilstein 5100s. The nice thing is that I can upgrade them to reservoir shocks in the front and just add piggybacks to the rear if i ever wanted too.
@@automotiveandmore didn’t know you could add reservoirs to them, that’s pretty cool. Still don’t like icons digressive valving when it comes to off-road driving as much as king/fox linear valving.
@Rob P i like both. I definitely think King is best. I will say the Icons are so nice and smooth offroading at speed. Im happy eith them. They are a good all around shock IMO. One day maybe find an excuse for Kings, lol.
On icons website it recommends buying a new 1 inch rear block if you have the at4 submodel. Did you do this to achieve a level truck or did you just keep the rear lift blocks on your at4? I have this exact truck and just wanted to know before I ordered this setup.
I kept the OEM block andand dis not purchase any other blocks. The front coild are adjustable so you can fune tune it. Buy the adjustment key. It does not come with the coils. Its $30.

I have been using it for years with no issues. ICON doesn't say you can't either.

It's a cunt hair higher in the front. By like a 1/16th of an inch.
