I enjoy your Everyman approach to your videos, it all feels natural, honest and entertaining. You had me on the Brass Monkey series.. :-) In point of fact, you were the difference between buying and not buying a BM..... not many reviews out there and yours sold me. I am not a big spender, not a 4 x 4 aficionado and being a solo camper don't need more than around 25 litres for my purposes. Good luck with the MyCoolman, I look forward to your future updates. I watched your video and another aussie's review video, decided to get this one. It's solid and well made. I don't have draw system, so this one perfectly fits my DIY back platform.
It’s been great so far. Cycles are quieter than my old brass monkey fridge and cools a lot quicker when first turning it on. Turbo mode is awesome! Thanks for commenting and subscribing 👍
Excellent video. I do appreciate how much research you've done. I personally didn't do much research before buying the same fridge. But everything you said I believe to be true and correct. Don't worry about them only been a few years old. I took the word of a mate in the industry who now chooses to sell these fridges. You've made a wise choice bud. The designers have many years experience and have essentially researched all the things wrong with other fridges and fixed them. It certainly feels like that when your look at these fridges. I'm confident this fridge is well worth the money. Get them while they're cheap I reckon.

I got exactly the same fridge in the same car.
I have had lots of issues with error codes when over about 38 degrees.
Been working to confirm the issue. However, Perth has had about 14 days over 40 this year.
Cooler days no problems.
Hopefully I don’t have those issues too. We will see. Surely myCOOLMAN thought people would use this above 35 degrees?

Don’t be concerned about the brand, look at the ARB Zero range, they are this exact same fridge as My Coolman. I bought the 69L DZ, same size but taller, wish I bought the 53L 👍

Hey mate, can you tell me how many amps it draws once it’s all cooled down and maintaining temp? Cheers Dan
Hi Dan, that’s a tough one to answer. It depends on the season. If I’m running the fridge and freezer in winter up here, it doesn’t cycle much and draws around 2-3 amp/hours. In summer, it can be close to double that at around 4 on hot days. Still doesn’t cycle as much as my old brass monkey where I’d flatten a 100 amp hour lithium in around 1.5 days. Hope this helps. @@NorthOz I understand that mate but for example a Engel will use max 3.6 amps to cool everything down, once down to desired temps it will only draw less than 1 amp to maintain temp. Is the mycoolman similar or is it around 3+ amps even once cooled down to desired temp? 3 amps per hour over 24hrs is about 72 amps per day which seams very high.

Info was handy but talking head videos lose viewers pretty quick, especially when reviewing a product and not showing it through the video. Personally, that drives me crazy. Get yourself some broll and cut it until the video so we can see the product and to break up the video. It will make your content easier to watch and help maintain viewers interest.

What size fridge slide is the xtm, the kings 60l fridge slide doesn't fit the 53l mycoolman 🥲
Hi Aaron. Internal dimensions on this one is
L = 75cm
W = 43cm
D = 5
This does not fit my fridge but what I did was make a riser out of plywood and rubber to lift it to clear the rail and I was good to go 👍
