Wow! Everything is in place to make a repeatable perfect job that you'd think could only be achieved with metal, you're proving how wood can be nearly as precise and versatile, that's really impressive. Bravo!

Gotta say this is the most innovative and ingenious woodworking channel on UA-cam. And I have followed many for several years. It would be interesting to know more background about this mysterious guy.
I like your channel👍.. but something bothers me. Everything is always so perfect🧐...and I know it can't be.🤔 Of course, something doesn't go according to plan, or you make a mistake... you cut it wrong, etc😅... Just for fun - a video compilation of all the "accidents" would be interesting.😉
Yeah, I find it intimidating when I have a go at something being demonstrated only to discover how imperfect the results are. Always nice to know that the "teacher" screws up sometimes too.
Atleast he is human - when he started to show how to use it, the hole in dowel is off by ½-1 mm - it subtle but its off, well atleast the cross is off. Still proves the point. Is it over the top and precision far beyond you need for 95% of woodworking...Yes! Is it a great video? YES!
I always wondered about this too, do you ever make mistakes jsk koubou? If so please share them so we don't feel like you get everything right first time lol
I've always loved your portable, magnetic drill stand. And these accessories for it are brilliant! I've also thought that an oblong slot big enough for a hand to fit in could be milled into the vertical support at the back of the drill stand. Would serve as a perfect handle for carrying, or holding during drilling operations.
Exceptional. Do you ever sell any of the tools that you design as a kit. By that I mean a self assembly kit. I would be interested! I have some ideas for gifts and they just happen to have LSK-koubou as a name. Thanks anyway for sharing.
Your videos are always very impressive..love to watch all of them... one thing i want to ask you Which type of drill bit is used for horizontal drilling
Cannot find anywhere in the UK that sells a magnetic drill base , as I would like to attempt to make this drill press . I would like to add that I thoroughly enjoy all of your content. Your skill and attention to detail is outstanding.
If you know about all the Chuck Norris's Facts and you are aware of their existence, it is because JSK KOUDOU Sensei allowed is name to be replaced by the one of Chuck Norris. Domo Arigato Sensei for that new masterpiece.
@Robert Kovacic. Indeed, a few bloopers would ben fun. However, it looks all too easy. One time I tried something similar, but the painstaking preperations of designing something usefull, a step by step srcipt, filming ánd editing, tryouts, testing, buying and finding the right materials and last but not least cleaning the workshop every step of the way....was just too much for me. He is one of many, but lonely at the top.
Me gustó 100 X %. Vds. tienen todo para hacer esos proto tipos, aquí ni soñar y encargados son carísimos o los pedidos son robados, por quien sabe! Salodos desde nicaragua, estamos largo de mejico aquí hace calor.
Not sure it would be possible, but for those of us who might want to give one of your projects a try, would it be possible to provide the source of some of your parts?
Buongiorno, non sarebbe utile, mettere un righello sul lato della colonnina? Così sé si dovesse fare un foro di profondità o più fori, vengono fatti tutti uguali? Buona giornata
I bet this guy's drill jig is way more precise than that WEN drill, they do the same, but not as precise as this guy, this guy is almost like a human cnc, lol.
Channel is very good but I don’t think I could make anything shown, sometimes it materials, what are they, dimensions etc. then some of them need a different jig making first, it’s. Chicken and Egg.
His plans are in the metric system (as they should be). I'm American BTW. You have to source the parts from Misumi or find a suitable replacement. You could in theory take the ideas and put your own spin on them to avoid using his parts but that could be a challenge.
JSK; I had an idea for a possible "improvement"...as you slide the angled piece to adjust the distance from center, you get les support at the end where the drill enters...i thought that you could add a parallel piece that is 'anchored' to the t-slot, with a dowel pin, and then slides parallel to the angled piece, so that it holds the angle and distance but keeps support at the drill entry point...if you understand my quick description, or think you might be interested to see a sketch.drawing, just reply, and I'll find a way to send it to you (no interest in "selling" the idea, just like to participate in, or contribute to, your work)

頑張って更新するつもりですが、自家用操縦士のライセンスとるために勉強中でなかなか時間が取れなくなってしまいました。ここ一年程あまり良いモノづくりができていないのはその為です。

May I know what the brand of your drill bit is? It looks pretty sharp! Thanks!
Very clever yes, but i often think why? Must have way too much time on his hands i guess..

Instead of using the lathe will a bench vice and holding the drill carefully might work .Hold straight and drill with the wood clamped.
Isn't this the same reupload as few years back?
Not complaining though as all tutorials were optimised and neat to understand.

The central axis of the round wood to be drilled can be found easily and quickly with a simple mechanism mounted on the machine.
