NFS my peak fandom was this game from 1999 with High Stakes to Carbon in 2006 good times. Then took a long break and came back to NFS Payback and oh boy times have changed with this franchise.
The graphics where perceived as so abnormally realistic, that I was borderline scared of what the future might even bring. Back then I was 13 and I guess my fear of the digital future was justified, looking at tik tok now

the cool thing is that they kept most wanted's police pursuit songs, everytime it played, always reminded me of when i try to escape cops in rockport city man, carbon and most wanted are 2 legendary games.
This game is honestly for me the number 1 best in the series. I know it was rushed and shorter compared to MW or UG2, but I played this one the most and enjoyed it the most. That's why it's my number 1 favorite NFS Game and the best one in the series (atleast for me). I just like this one and ProStreet the most (and even more than MW05), both Carbon and ProStreet are for me better than MW05 itself. This one will always have special place in my heart for how special it is.
