Thanks for sharing, took my first injection today, now off of insulin. Only metformin and Ozempic. Thanks again for your support and encouragement. Things are looking up❤😁
I went from my stomach to my thigh and I had little to no side affects. When I was injecting in my stomach they were horrible!Everyone is different though, so I'd say try a different area to see which one works better for you.
I had my first dose of .25mg of ozempic this past Saturday and I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3.8 pounds. I’m so happy. This drug has really helped my hunger.
Not sure how many spots I have left. I do one pen in my stomach three times a day. Then I have a fentanyl patch I had to put on my fat behind. Then I have two pens I do on my hip. I got them to pick another type of blood sugar testing off my fingers because they hurt so bad as I have Dupytrens contracture on both hands and Ledderhose on my feet. I have a blood sugar meter on my arm. No place left to stick or poke!
My physician told me the same thing, I just had my first ejection on 10/8/23. I felt slightly nauseated this afternoon but it tapered off by the evening
Omg I wish someone would have told me this I only injected in my thigh & the side at that , I have barely lost 25 pounds been using almost a year that’s for sharing
Like every meds it will have a few side effects. I have just started but going in positively. I stopped watching the negative reviews. Really, i need this to work. Full stop. Period. So let's do this and, as always, hope for the best❤
It’s always helpful to know! You always want to rotate your injections so you don’t develop areas where the medicine won’t absorb from injecting too much in one area.
@@TheHangryWomancan you please answer me. I accidentally press Ozempic two time. On my first time use. I wonder if it go in for 2 dose? I feel like my hand are cold now

Whenever you can best remember each week. Since it’s once weekly, I try to pick a day where I don’t have much going on and it’s easy to remember (Sunday evenings for me).
I just got mine and this is my second dose today I’ve been putting In my love handles Is that ok I just seen your video and I see that’s not a site for Injection. I believe It’s ok but maybe the drug will take longer to work because of the love handle area
Awesome I did mind in the stomach Last Saturday but ima wait until this Sunday March 31 to do my next injection because it make me fill like I’m pregnant nausea and not want nothing to eat But I take notice when I took my shot last week on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I felt sick. I didn’t eat only ate a little bit but Thursday Friday and Saturday seem like the injection had wore off and I was able to eat. Did that happen to you Hangry woman?
Idk, been on it three years so far with amazing blood sugars and much more energy. Has it ruined your body, or are you just projecting failure onto me for some really odd reason?
@@TheHangryWoman if it’s for its intended purpose, it probably works while you remain on it. But if you are taking it for weight loss, you must remain on it for continued results. Once you stop, your weight will come back with a vengeance. That’s the report I heard about. I don’t take it, I’m not diabetic.
I hope I won’t have any issues because I injected it there…it wasn’t too far from the front of my thigh….oh lord I’m trying to be very careful with how I inject it😬
This should only be for diabetics but hey, if there's No Shortages for the people who actually need i, then why not try it If there was a shortage for diabetics then I wouldn't feel good getting it from the Dr for weight loss Still need to exercise and diet along with it

My endocrinologist said for best results the stomach is the best spot out of all.
Mine said the same thing...he said if your doing it specifically for weight loss, stick to just the stomach...for diabetes, all 3 areas are ok....

I mean is it hard to inject it into your skin?
Nah! Tiny pinch, and a little sting if the medicine is cold. It goes so fast, once it’s done most people (myself included) say it’s not so bad.
I took my first shot today, i counted up to 6 slowly after the pen hit 0 then pulled it out and it still was leaking Ozempic from it.
I literally count to 10 because there would still be a drop or two dripping from the needle after counting to 6.
Thank you I'm also on the needle..
And it's helping me out alot..

Which is the least painful?
It depends on your sensitivity, but belly area is usually least painful for me. Everyone differs though.
Be careful. It is front outer thigh, not middle.
I’ve done the middle thigh, no issues. I’m controlled type 2 & have been taking it for 10 months. No issues with my injection sites.
