Especially at 19:16 he took on becoming a mariachi until the grave he said it himself he bought the suit so he would be buried in it if that isn't a declaration of dedication I don't know what is
As Mexican girl who loves Serbian music I find YuMex music so interesting. Even today Balkan artists like Saša Kovačević, Jala Brat and Maya Berovic take a lot of influence from Puerto Rico with their Reggaeton inspired songs.
As a Mexican who loves his country all this cultural movement makes me feel proud of my culture, thanks for this video. If you write this novel in spanish it could become a best seller in Mexico 👏Bravo!!!
Que hermosos lazos y cosas en común tenian Yugoslavia y México, lástima que no duraron mucho, aún así doy gracias por el aprecio que tenian los yugoslavos por la música mexicana 🥲
I heard about Yumex music from Mazzini's website several years ago and have most of what's available on MP3. I've seen this documentary a few times. I'm from Texas in America so some of the tunes and music is familiar to me, and I know Spanish.
Wow, as a mexican, I'm glad mexican music made people happy during a rough time in history, I guess we can say WHEN MEXICO CONQUERED HEARTS WITHOUT WARS. 😂
Very interesting documentary. It makes me feel very proud that my Mexico is appreciated this way. Mexico loves people who love Mexico and its culture. 😊
The connection between Emilio "Indio" Fernandez and the Oscar statuette was her friend Dolores del Río, another Mexican actress, and her friend (and later husband) Cedric Gibbons, who created the Oscar statuette. So Fernandez was Cedric Gibbon's wife's friend.
