OMG that was the funniest video you've ever put out there Adam! I'll tell ya that the firewood community is not only the hardest working and the most hysterical group of people out there. Great video! God bless to you all!
Mike Morgan drove all the way there to visit neighbour Doug, and you couldn't snag him for a cameo appearance? 😂 Missed you over on his video, too! Would've been a hoot to see you pop out behind a tree or something while they were blowing leaves. 😅 Crew looks well coordinated today. You guys really know what you're doing!
Great Video! Makes one appreciate the production output of a large processor. As far a cords to IBCs, this year i did a test and a stacked cord level fills four 275gal IBC totes. Three rounded 330gal IBC totes should equate to a full cord.
6 guys at, let's say, $30/hr for wages (though these guys would likely be twice that), unemployment insurance, etc. So for 2 hours that would be $360. So basically your first cord of wood would be to pay the guys. I would think your second would go toward machines (loan payment plus fuel and maintenance), the building, and utilities. Also factor in transportation of the final product. It really seems like one cord in 2 hours goes to profit or expansion. That's assuming you don't pay for the raw materials. It would be interesting to run the numbers and figure out where the break even is.
Just a bunch of dudes! Sure you boys talked enough over some beers, cool to see everyone just running their machine without needing to talk to know what eachother are doing.
Should make a roller system for your wood bins so you can have six or so in a row when one is full you push the line so so full bin can roll out the away
"90 Dollars" , "Wrong, nothing" Adam, still the accountant. Knowing when to charge and when to get free labour. Great Video. And an awesome , overqualified group of great men.
Absolutely fun video to watch! Between turning Instruction tube into a cup holder to the smokie smokless fire ring to the swimming in the 'toxic' (lol) lake; looks like a great time.
Adam, that was a very interesting episode. You sure have an amazing network / variation community of like minded friends, A+Team with all with their own unique attributes to contribute. It only goes to show that this beats sitting behind a desk crunching numbers, Adam you have come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. 😀👍👍👍
This is what a great day looks like! You all got so much done. Adam, your log piles look like they are seasoning very nicely. The wood you all were bucking and splitting looks ready to burn. Just in time for late summer roadside firewood sales and/or delivery. Awesome job, guys! 🦾🪵🪚
hi there interesting show , hope you stopped in and signed the saw when i was wondering around , your crew all a bunch of great guys . and best to all john .
Adam, you had a lot of crazy guys but they were all rocking and rolling with making firewood for the yard the one pond scene that you had looked like 👍 the women that do the acrobatics in a pool made me laugh so hard excellent work and video by “Doug “ 😮😊❤
Looking like a smooth operation! I was curious about the Canadian flag on your pallet forks? Is it a Canadian tractor, or just the front attachment? Super random question haha
Those X-knife splitters are the bees-knees IMHO, just figuring out how to feed them and not have the knife split/retract-strokes slow other parts of the operation is the key. I've done some work in robotics, finding out the time requirement for each individual step is the key, then accounting for the most common faults in your process design will get you a flow that is sustainable. You can do this with a GoPro and a pad of paper - do the job repetitively over several hours, then divide how many times you did a thing against what the total time was you did the thing for an average cycle time. Figuring out how to-not handle material/product at each stage should go into your cost model (this includes post-job cleanup, sawdust and wood-chips are a product - don't just toss it). If it's cheaper to do a job with a machine (including maintenance and repairs) than it is to pay a person for the hours you expect them to work (plus train and insure them), then the machine solution wins. Patents don't matter if you're building it for yourself (not for sale), so if you're capable of building it for less than you can buy it - you'll even know how to fix it when it breaks.
Do you have a fire suppression system/plan for around the wood processing area ? if so, what might it be ? and if not, maybe make a video on setting one up,
Hey Adam! I really enjoyed this video. Nice job, great guy's and a good time being had by all. Take care and God Bless!!!❤😊🙏 How much rain did you get yesterday?
I want to know how the little tiny saws on the splitter can rip through a log about twice as fast as a gas powered saw. I've always been impressed by how fast they cut. Also, Busch Light? Srsly?
Thanks for having me out, I'll send the invoice for my labor in the mail!
Also, The pond was nice and refreshing, glad that made the video!
😂😂😂
The check is in the mail! ✉It was pesos correct?
This video compliments of a bad ass cameraman. 😁 now it’s time for a real big UA-camr firewood day with a bunch more of us. Make it happen Adam.
I will be there!
@@OneEyeCustoms I would do it! Not too far from NE Ohio 🤠👍
I'm in, I could bring my blue 17vs and put it next to Doug's red one - that would be pretty.
OMG that was the funniest video you've ever put out there Adam! I'll tell ya that the firewood community is not only the hardest working and the most hysterical group of people out there. Great video! God bless to you all!
Thanks for the hospitality! Next time we’re at my woodyard I expect 14 totes of split wood 😂
2 hours of labor. You got it
@@HometownAcres He would probably be late, even at his own house.
LUV the camaraderie. Well done Adam. It’s nice to see all of you hanging out and having fun.
Looked like a good time. You had a legit operation going there.
Mike Morgan drove all the way there to visit neighbour Doug, and you couldn't snag him for a cameo appearance? 😂 Missed you over on his video, too! Adam, this was probably one of your best videos by far seeing a group of friends and fellow youtubers helping each other out, and having fun doing it!
Probably the best video I have watched in I don't know how long. Swimming in the pond was the best.
Best UA-cam content I've seen in years from all the channels I watch. Banging heaters. Drinking waters... And chainsaws. Awesome!!!!
Man I wish I was there, looks like every one had a grand time! Thanks to all channels for making this happen
Could you add a link in a description to all the guys that helped you UA-cam channel.?
It’s always nice getting a good group of guys together. Nice amount of wood in a short period of time.
What a great day at Hometown Acres!! That would have been a blast to be there and help out.
Great Video! Makes one appreciate the production output of a large processor. As far a cords to IBCs, this year i did a test and a stacked cord level fills four 275gal IBC totes. Three rounded 330gal IBC totes should equate to a full cord.
Great video. Especially loved the shop talk with the boys at the end. That's what it's all about. Life is good!

!SCHIEB!!! woo
The “Delta Force” of firewood production.
💪🪓💪
Very creative video Doug and Adam.. Having everyone over for a little work testing session and party after..
Best work crew I have seen in a longtime, however I think the economics and output of the 48C has them beat😅
Great video, bunch of guys who are not afraid of a little work!
Great video! I liked the beer holster conversion! Tropical 🏝️ pond water is sweet as well!
Great video Adam and really enjoyable! I am now subscribed to Everything Elliott and Dude Ranch DIY (already following Doug of course!) 🇬🇧🇬🇧👋👋🇺🇸🇺🇸
The last few minutes were the best part of the video.
Just a bunch of dudes! Sure you boys talked enough over some beers, cool to see everyone just running their machine without needing to talk to know what eachother are doing.
Its great to see u getting help big day 🇳🇿👍
Eastonmade for the win and that saw table.
Very cool getting everyone together. Bet y’all had a blast. .!!!
Great video. Fantasti round table and swim at the end. Looked like a fun day.
Should make a roller system for your wood bins so you can have six or so in a row when one is full you push the line so so full bin can roll out the away

Looks like fun, always more fun with friends! the ending is hilarious, love it!

Looks like a well FED crew.
Adam what a great video. Love to see when like minded UA-camr's get together.
I’m glad I stuck around for the end of the video lol
Had to spice things up!

Good group of hard working guys in this video Adam. 👍🏻👍🏻

good job boyz!
You know all the wives are going to see this and say you don’t work that hard when I ask you to do something!!!!! Great job guys!!!! From ohio
What a stand up bunch of guys. I loved every minute of the video.
Enjoyed the show! Nice to see “competitors” working together. Hope everyone got lots of video. Loved the conversation and pond fun!!
Great splitting session 😊 Nice to see you all together. I'm subscribed to everyone that was there. Love the collaboration 👍
Great episode.
Lots of men working hard and having fun.
Great group of guys!!!!!!!!!!
hi there interesting show , hope you stopped in and signed the saw when i was wondering around , your crew all a bunch of great guys . and best to all john .
Just subscribed to all of them.
It was very entertaining, thank you!
I guess I could help ya out. You’re just a bit down the road and you keep coming up as my recommended friends of Facebook. Seems rather official.
Adam just Tom Sawyered half of the firewood community to knock out his annual supply of firewood! SMOOTH!
You guys are nuts! Looks like a heck of a party! Wish I could have been there for that one...
Good work! Fun day in the wood yard.
Looks like Y'all had a good time. Give me the axis over all the fancy toys, any day. It splits everything easily.
Great idea the trouble with other people using your machinery is their care factor is lower.
Best Hometown Acres video
Hell yeah. You guys killed it. Nice work
Looks like a good groups of forever friends there
Fantastic work boys 🇬🇧
What a fun video. Really enjoyed it.

What a crew!
Great channels you've shared with us. We'll check them out 👍
have you considered building a funnel stand to act as top entrance to the totes from the conveyers?
Great Video!
Great group of guys.
Strong 'King of the Hill' vibes in the opening scene.
Firewood and firewood accessories....
Looks like you guys had fun . Made sure I was subscribed to all channels there .
That's it! I'm contacting Dick Yuengling! LOL, I think he has enough pull in PA to revoke your birth certificate. Busch beer?? Great video!
Moved the marker for best one, so cool!
Great video!
If your saw table had a crown in the middle it might help the saw not bind like does cause it's flat just a thought
Great video you should get thoes guys to come down and once every year
Thanks for the most entertaining video I have seen in a while, I haven't laughed that hard in a while!!
SAFETY NANNY ME......ya'lls all shoulda been wearin' HARD HATS !!!!
Looking like a smooth operation! I was curious about the Canadian flag on your pallet forks? Is it a Canadian tractor, or just the front attachment? Super random question haha
Good to see you guys brother. Next time I’m out that way we can put in a days work 🤙
The only problem I see with that much help is so much got done. What will you do tomorrow?

That’s a lot of firewood!
Do you have a fire suppression system/plan for around the wood processing area ?
if so, what might it be ? and if not, maybe make a video on setting one up,
I never made it to the Bunyan show this year. My wife wanted to go to a street fair so that's what we done this year.
That's definitely the way to roll, 👊👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Hey Adam! I really enjoyed this video. Nice job, great guy's and a good time being had by all. Take care and God Bless!!!❤😊🙏
How much rain did you get yesterday?
I drink Busch Light, but never when I am working! Be safe!
For production, I think the bucking table with big logs and horizontal easton looks slow and labor intensive.
Smoking cigarettes having some beers working hard and having a great day 🤙🇺🇸👍
Adam, I think the killer, would be workman's comp and general insurance ???? seems like it would be $$$$$$$$
I would have clicked this video just for the end! 😂 Great job guys!!! 🤠👍
Lots of fun
It looks like the beer started to take effect at the end there
Cool vid, subscribed to all !!
Question been wanted to ask, are you still filling pond with the original ways. As in the pump from stream and French drain
I want to know how the little tiny saws on the splitter can rip through a log about twice as fast as a gas powered saw. I've always been impressed by how fast they cut. Also, Busch Light? Srsly?
A lot more horsepower powering a hydraulic pump
With all that going on, looks like the Wolfe Ridge firepit got the hardest use.
