It's October and the fall foliage is starting to pop up all over the rolling hills of southern New England. I make autumn stew with a friend, stack wood for my parents and hunt for colorful autumn scenes all over my favorite back roads.

5 years this year since I moved from Yorkshire, UK to Northern New Jersey and Autumn has become my favourite season especially with an American wife to show me the pleasures of pumpkin and apple picking, apple cider donuts and my favourite Oktoberfest Beer 😋🍻🍏🍁🍂

That’s very interesting at 10:45 seeing a new beaver dam! I had no idea they changed their behavior due to the drought but it would make sense.
My friends, nurses and healthcare workers, travelled from the tropical Philippines and immersed in this experience trying to reestablish our uprooted sense of cultural identity… Your story gives justice to the narrative that we get to enjoy in a very personal way… An replanted life that now begins to grow into fruition, day in and day out, season after season… Life-affirming… Life-changing… The New England life… And, technically, an Upstate New York life…

Our acreage is one of the few that still has mature patches of trees (urban sprawl & townhouses continue to encroach...we'll be moving within 5 yrs😢).
When we watch our sunsets through our elms & oaks, we make narrations of the birds calling to each other:
"Hey, Chickadee...whatcha doin'?"
"Just hangin' Whatchu doin'?"
"Wanna go wormin'? That couple just finished turning the soil in the flower bed... let's get some grub🤣"
~Loving being able to enjoy vids like this while prepping for our fall Mountain hikes to the cabin.

I live in The Berkshires and have seen spectacular, bright colors here and in Vermont this Autumn. I am surprised after one of the hottest and driest Summers I can ever remember. I expected that that would produce more muted colors.
Always at the end when I see the dragonfly fly away I always feel so nostalgic.

The colors around here in the Berkshires are awesome this year. My favorites are the oranges and yellows.
Beautiful , relaxing , well put together . The only problem ….I’m not there . I live in the stunning beautiful Columbia river Gorge here in Oregon but I like to see other places of the world . Fall is my favorite time of year from where you are from . Thanks for sharing . Your so good at this . I’m convinced even my my blood pressure gets lowered when I watch your videos .

I grew up in Tennessee and now live in New Hampshire - nothing beats falls in New England. I was amazed by it when I first moved up here. It's a magical place to be this time of year and the small towns are different up here than any other place I've ever been. They just have tons of charm to them.
Great video. We were just in New England mountain biking in Vermont and a spontaneous trip on the clearest day in weeks up Mt Washington. The kids threw snowballs as we looked at the valleys of fire below. We returned back to New Brunswick to find our leaves slowly leaving the trees now.

I have trouble falling asleep but don’t take this the wrong way. I’ve tried all kinds of sleep videos and sleep sounds that really haven’t worked. After finding your channel it helped me like nothing before. The calming music and beautiful scenery and even your narration almost puts me to sleep before I can even finish watching. Your videos are amazing Kyle! So relaxing but at the same time filled with so much good content to think about. As with you, I wish Mitch and John the very best with their new businesses! Young men pursuing their dreams using their own skills. Being retired I can look back at my life at your age and remember trying so hard to make all the pieces fit so that I would feel fulfilled and satisfied with what I had done. I'm like everyone else and have some regrets but overall, it all things worked out pretty well. I wish the same for you and your friends!!
