Brilliant, bravo! As a student working on learning comprehensively all of the palos and getting a global understanding, I highly recommend Guille's classes and techniques, and to watch all the videos. Dancers can learn to sing and should study it. The cante is beautiful, it's poetry.
Great work, as always, Guille! I appreciate your analysis and explanation of why bulerias has always been so difficult for me, though I must say that since watching all your videos I feel a growing confidence in how to approach bulerias. I agree with you that learning the other palos and the fundamentals of compas and cante, which you're brilliant at breaking down, is transferable to bulerias. Thanks again for your high-quality work! (Slightly off topic....would you consider doing a video at some point about the difference between a cierre and remate and why it matters to distinguish between the two?)
Thanks Raina! I appreciate it a lot and I’m so happy that you already feel more confident 💪🙃 I have to talk about llamadas, remates and cierres, yes! Thorny topics!
Too conversational videos make it hard to follow anything you say that is related to a complex issue in the first place. Less philosophical talk and more practical examples should get the job done.
Thanks for watching and for the comment. This is exactly what I meant: breaking down the issues and identifying them. It’s true that the video came out very long and lot of talking, but there are already billions of practical videos on UA-cam and I thought it would be helpful to put it all into context. In the description there are multiple links to more specific videos on the different subjects that I cover, with lots of exercises, etc...
